3 way transfers

So it looks like it could come down to a 3 way mid season transfer

Galvin to Eels

Brown to Knights

KPP to Tigers

Tigers want a forward and they have expressed interest in him.

  • Heard about this on tripple m

  • So nothing much different for us. In fact, we lose the current NZ rep 5/8 to gain a youngster with plenty of potential.

Wouldn't be busting out the good booze just yet.

Also, we need at least 4 forwards more than they do.

    • Sure but right now we're losing the NZ 5/8 regardless. It would be very nice if we can replace him with someone of talent.

      • Hughes and Brown are first choice for the kiwis everyday of the week.

The NZ selectors have more sense than to listen to disgruntled fans who don't know football.

        • I wasn't having a dig at Brown. I meant we're losing a talented 5/8, it would be ideal if we could replace him with a talented 5/8

      • Yeah, all I am saying is that swapping Brown for Galvin ain't gonna do much for us.

We need forwards more than replacing Brown immediately. You said so yourself. We have the worst prop rotation in the NRL and it only got worse with the loss of JO and Lane. We also have pretty much ZERO backrowers worthy of regular FG.

    • That NZ 5/8 has only turned up for 1 game this year so we're not missing anything. I would pull the trigger on this pronto

    • Would be intresting to see them pick a NZ squad tomorrow and if he'd get a look in.  It wasnt a highly contended spot when he was selected to start with. The options got narrowed down when they decided to go with a 5/8 under 50 years of age. Dylan Bradbury.

"How does it work, in terms of "contracted top 30", with those Eels lower graders who have been injury prone? Like AMS and Dunster? Dunster was turning out for Wendy until injured (again) in 2025?
Also, I wonder how they assess injury-prone? Do they…"

"It's possible definitely but based on the current form especially of the Titans game, injury list, obvious fitness levels it's going to be a real struggle. Yes, the Eels are scoring points when they're really focused in on the match but they're…"
