3 - Paulo. back to the junior of old,. Folded blokes. Ran hard first and looked for the offload second. Massive motor again.
2 - Iongi. Safe today. Attack was electric. Only blemish was the horrible pass off kick return.
1 - Brown. Ran the ball and connected the left edge pretty well. Don't forget his try saver on Sloan.
Smith & Walker deserve a mention too.
Line up next week:
- Iongi
- Lomax
- Russel (I thought he was great today. People expect him to pass to Ado Carr even when there is no space for JAC to work with. Defensively he was solid in contact with Suli which is very impressure)
- Pensini
- JAC
- Brown
- Hawkins
- Paulo
- Smith (he needs to start. Cannot see why he cannot play 80 already)
- Joe O
- Hopgood (he needs some time on the edge to gain form. Been missing crucial tackle. We also dont have any options)
- Lane (he was good to start the game but gets lazy as the game goes on. So he can split his minutes with Kautoga)
- Guymer/Matto (he was strong in cup but if he truly on the outer he wont play)
- Walker
- Moretti (I thought him and Tuivita were immense off the bench)
- Tuivita
- Kautoga

I would give smith the 1 point over Brown but its a split hair in it. Hopgood is struggling but I don't think he is an edge player, I think we just allow him time to play himself into form. I have been saying for two years that both Russell and simmonson or better centres then they are wingers, not that either are great centres.
I think Hopgood is needed to fix our edge defence. I would not expect much attack from him. But defensively he would help a lot till we find some good backrowers. He may not be in form but he is a fighter. Dragons kept working Kautoga over because his defensive technique and contact is poor.
We need to applaud Ryles decison making. He had the nerves to move Lomax back to the wing already.
May also drop Lane and put hopgood there

2: iongi

I reckon Brown was really good today.. Run forrest run.. Paulo and Longi
I genuinely think that's what happened. He was told just to run
More space and time also wasn't running into brick walls.
This is what happens when you go edge to edge.
I thought another leadership thing DB did today when Iongi threw that low % shocker DB was the first one there as he understood what Iongi was trying to do.
DB almost always ran after a quick play the ball. Rather than running into a steady defensive line he was running at a retreating line. Smallchange but a huge difference.
3. Lomax 2. Paulo 1. Smith
This would be mine too RB.
phenomanal effort from all 3.
