I think Moretti and Guymer were real issues yesterday

  Moretti is just under done, his early season was repeatedly interrupted by injuries. He could probably do with a few games in reserve grade playing longer minutes but we have too many injuries for that luxury.
  
  Guymer on the other hand has been poor at best, I just don't know what he is, not mobile enough to play edge and gets owned in the middle. I wonder if he can ball play as a lock, if not I don't see him as a first grader currently.

    Thats his future spot. Ball playing lock. But if you play him there you need to surround him with more athletic forwwards that can also defend. Tuilagi and Moretti doesnt provide that.
    
    Also wonder if JR plans him to replace JDB there to start next year or as a back up player who plays most games in nsw cup. Right now his versatility to play middle and edge keeps him in the team.

      We need a starting lock for next year, I think jdb will be moved on. That's the only position I can see guymer playing if he is to be in the 17 with everyone available. If so at some point this season ryles will have to play him there to see if he is up to it.

        I think doorey will be starting at lock if jdb is moved on. Unless another junior does well in first grade.

  Neither are NRL standard, especially Guymer.
  
  If our forwards train as hard as Jack Williams in the gym sessions, we'd have a decent pack. Clearly a lot of them are cutting corners when it comes to strength and conditioning.
