Eels First and whoever is playing the roosters is second.
the most star studded squad that would be well over the salary cap bows out on the end of a fcomplete flogging. One bright spot for the year.

Roosters a bit unlucky with that try allowed in the 53rd minute to Jahrome Hughes, they looked to have the momentum it didn't cost them game but grant Atkins is always good a clanger - surprising is the gap between 1st and 3rd, anyway the roosters finally under the cap for the first time is years and even with a 15 million dollar squad Robbo couldn't get them to the GF.
At least that rubbish call has guaranteed Atkins won't be the GF referee.
Hope so! Besides, why should the Penrith man ref Penrith he has shown his bias clearly when reffing is v them anyway. Surely the nrl wouldn't be that silly hmmm
cant stand the cheat. Can't remember what I'm sposed to buy at shop but never forget this cheats antics against us.
I don't like either team or Penrith. Still don't think Penrith deserve to be 3 pest premiers after the finals game in 2021 when the trainer stopped the game. I'm actually hoping the Sharks beat Penrith tonight and beat the Storm but the ref will probably help Penrith. I thought Hughes should have been sent to the bin in the 1st half for the professional foul. I also still don't understand why the major final are still home ground advantages. I agree with the 1st week of finals being home ground advantage but not the major one especially after they've had an extra week off. Bit unfair I reckon.
Robbo should be sacked for not getting that squad to a GF.
I'm the same. I have no issue with the Roosters players or how they play etc. But they're over the cap, the club cheats and has for years. Seeing them cheat and still fail makes me smile.
Penrith are lucky that Nathan Cleary's Dad is the Coach. Otherwise you could 100% guarantee that Nathan would be a Rooster in 2025. It's so predictable and the NRL / journos pretend they can't see the rort or they just laugh about it. Personally I find nothing funny about it.
The Roosters went all in on this year. With significant and expensive players leaving they'll probably be close to cap compliant for a year or two before gouging other clubs and going all in again in a few years. Classic.
The nrl will make sure penrith get all the calls tonight. Cleary v Hughes paps v Edwards Munster v luai will sell papers all about money.
Exactly and even if the Sharks are the better team the ref/bunker will help Penrith
For the first time in my life I went for Melbourne. What I like is they have lost key players to remain cap compliant and yet still put a team together who played like a champion team rather than a team of champions. The Rorters where the opposite. The coach should be held accountable for the Roosters team selections and Manu should have played in the halves. When he switched for a while they looked a different team.
Melbourne must be on the cheat again as they were in 2009 with two lots of books with Cameron Smith being the ring leader , Belamey didn't know about it......Every one of the Storms players are stars imagine parramatta trying to fit them in under the CAP
