2011 Could be the Year of the Spoon For the Eels !!! Urgent Action needed

From our top side we lose Cayless Inu Mateo and KK with the possibility of Eric becoming a shark

We still have Robo Morts Humble to battle out for the 7 and 6

We have Fui Burt Hindy and Tahu all whose best footy is behind them

With the only additions being some under 20s from the Eels Roosters and Dogs how are we going to be any better next year.

We are a side that could not make the 8 in a 15 team comp and next year Canberra Storm and Dogs will all be tougher than this year.

This leaves the Sharks, who we cant beat, Cowboys and the Eels fighting out for the Spoon.

Its ugly for 2011 ! No dream team here

i dont think we can be the spooners. Next year,will be a change in culture and attitude if they have the right attitude than they will able to play consistant footy.Shackleton will be back,Grothe from injury,Morts playing much better footy,Mitchell getting stronger,Hayne always superhuman,Hindy showing his crack,Burt kicking crucial kicks and hopefully we will sign Quad Cooper,Reni Matuia and resign Horo

Your glass isn't even half empty! Sure, this season has been a massive disappointment but I wouldn't go writing us off in 2011 before 2010 has even concluded.

Look, if we can snare Noddy or Barrett for 1 season and sign Quade Cooper for 2012 onwards we'll be sweet!

Wow so much negativity. We will make the top 8 and give the comp an all mighty shake in 2011. Think positive please. We still have one of the best roster if not the best roster in 2011. The mistakes we made in 2010 will not be repeated in 2011 and with more
positive thinking and more wins over teams that we can beat then anything is possible.

We still have such talent like Hayne, Tahu, Reddy, Burt, Morts, Moi Moi, Mannah, Hindmarsh, Smith, Horo, shack, Poore also possible signings like Quade, Matua, Piggy, Fergurson, Murray and up an coming talent like Mitchell, loko, Sio, Ohanlan, Lasalo etc.

I beg to differ my friend, I think 2011 will bring happy days back to the once mighty blue and gold. I see a roster that other teams would wet themselves over. So please stay positive and enough negative
blogs because 2011 is the year of the eels.

thats right adam 1969 wo should never say die cause we will shake the nrl in 2011 and im positive that eels would go good next year and hopefully win it GO U MIGHTY EELS .........................................................2011.

Thats a good call Bourbon. People were installing us as 2010 favs before the season ended last year and look what panned out I would be waiting to see how it pans over the off season. I agree with the Hayne Plane we defo need to hurry up and resign Horo as well as get someone like Matuia.

I think this is another Chicken Little (the sky is falling) type of blog.

I refuse to give up on next season before the boots are hung up for this season.

Further, Parramatta always do better in the year's where there is very little expectation placed on them. 2011 looks to be one of those years.

If our Juniors can step up the way I think they can and we find a halves combination that is actually a halves combination, I don't see why we can't reach for the stars in 2011!

People had us being wooden spooners in 2009!
I hope everyone thinks we'll being wooden spooners in 2011! It sure beats being red hot favourites to win the whole thing before we touch a ball!

How is the 2011 line up as good as the 2010 ? And the 2010 was not good enought to make the 8.

How do you feel about 2011 if Hayne gets hurt ? We will be a complete 1 man show and that has not worked this year.
