Hi Slip, I'm a tragic 49ers fan too but they didn't get off to the best of starts last week with a big loss to the Seahawks and things don't get much better with the Saints tonight. But it's early days yet (I just had a terrible sense of de-ja-vu)
Hahaha Normo, you'll be stuck with the St Louis Rams like me. Let's see, won 1 of 16 last year, two of 16 the year before and 3 of 16 before that. More than a passing resemblance to Parra LOL
I've been doing some research before you posted this and they wear blue and gold as their "alternate" strip. Maybe they need to take on those colours full time. Besides hasn't that franchise moved around a bit? Not ruling them out, I like an underdog.
If you read the Wikipedia blurb you'll get dizzy regarding the changes in uniform over the years. Suffice to say they keep to wearing the navy blue and gold strip at home and the 'lighter' white with navy blue and gold at away games. Seems it was/is an NFL rule.
Started 1936 in Cleveland, moved to LA in 1946 then St Louis in 1995. Privately owned teams (as they all are) move around depending on where they'll get the best deal (stadiums etc) and support.
If you like underdogs then you'll be hard pressed to find any lower LOL
My only apprehension is that they would up and move (which is fine) but also change colours on me. Have they always kept the same colours? If so I'm sold.
They've had virtually the same colours for all but 10 years of their existence. I doubt they'd make a complete change but if an owner pays $800mill for the franchise, I guess he could kit them out in pink with lime green polka dots if it took his fancy.
We could have a ready made forward pack in a few years entirely dependent on juniors like the dragons currently do now. Just need to lock the good ones up long term"
J'maine Hopgood has extended his contract with the Parramatta Eels, keeping him with the club until the end of the 2027 NRL season. Initially signed with the Eels for the 2023 and 2024 seasons, he has now added two more years to his…"
"It could all be between the ears for Hopgood. Either that or he's playing injured. The reason it could be psychological is he's making too many fundamental errors. Off side from kicks, not square at marker etc. Seems odd for a guy many considered a…"
"Defensively he's still got it which shows he's putting in the effort.
I'm struggling to find an answer on why he's making so many errors though, he was so reliable in 23/24"
