Australia will win on the 4th day. They'll skittle India tomorrow for under 250, they'll use there pink ball test expierence and make about 350-400, India bats again, Australia bowls them out again with only a small target to chase to win. Can't see India beating us with the pink ball not in Australian conditions and especially when this is only there 2nd Day/Night Test & Australia's 8th
I think India did well to make 126 runs in the third session (34 overs), which is typically the hardest time to bat in day/night test matches. But to only make 107 in the first two sessions from 55 overs is probably where they let themselves down. Admittedly, I didn't see much of the first two sessions, but you have to make hay while the sun shines (literally). A run rate of two per over in the better batting conditions could very well come back to bite them.
The wicket was a bit tacky, a bit like the MCG wicket in previous seasons, hard to score on if the bowling was disciplined, which it was, but also hard to get out on if you're patient and wait for the bad ball. Interestingly the wicket got a bit quicker in the last session when the sun went down, there may have been a bit of dew, which meant the ball came on a bit better for the batsmen.
It goes without saying the runout of Kohli was the killer for India. He & Rahane were cruising and then Rahane committed career suicide and the Aussies pounced with the 2nd rock.
That said, a score of 300 gets India into the game, we need to pry out Ashwin quickly this arvo, he is their version of Mitch Starc with the bat, he can score quickly.
"Its encouraging to see we have IEE's top thinkers on solving this problem.
At this stage we have Mutts and Bluey on here that are over 30 and have an IQ higher than 110
You may get to a 110 if you combine Randolph and Wiz,
For all you guys under 30,…"

Seemed a good day for us but I would like to see us bat first before making any predictions.
The outfield looks slow which would explain the steady run rate.
Looks a good test wicket though, bowlers who are patient and bowl line and length will do well.

India rolled for 36 in their 2nd dig, Hazlewood 5/8, Cummins 4/21, Aus need 90 to win.
Unbelievable
What a comeback the turning point for me was Paine's runs yesterday if he goes down cheap we end up rolled easy.
Cummings and Hazelwood wow wow wow!!!
