Doorey at lock was very good at nsw cup. Got a very deceptive short ball at the line
Not a fan at lock, he runs a good line and makes a good mobile prop, but I've never seen him play lock, so who knows?
yeah thanks guys, I was surprised, i just don't see him ball playing like a walker, Hopgood, DeBellin, etc. That surprised me. Mind you none are as good as Walker at it, from lock.
I can't remember a first trial line up as strong as this in many years. Maybe Ryles taking the opportunity to get match conditioning in to them as much as possible. Injuries are just as likely at training as in a game. Will be interesting to see how the halves control the game.
Gotta say that looks good, considering who's missing. Another winger to push Tago down and an improvement on Meni Luke and that's quite a well covered squad, even as is.
Wondering how the halves would change. We have 5 on the sheet: Pezet, Joash, Volkman, Talataina, Fletcher. Guessing Fletcher might play 9 for a bit?
Footy's proper back tho. yay.
I recon Joash will move to fullback when the first change happens with Iongi wrapped in cotton wool.
No chance Fletcher plays 9. I recon Pezet and Fletcher play minimal minutes. Twiddle, Joash and Iongi to split the fullback minutes.
EA how old is Twiddle i watch a few lower grade games last year seemed to have a good future . Has he been training with the top boys . What's your opinion of him going further
Twiddle turns 22 this year. Can play fullback and even 5/8. So his future at the club is blocked. So he would have to go England or another NRL team for a crack IMO.
I would like to see him developed into a utlity player that can cover fullback, centre, 5/8 and lock.
Thanks for the info EA as you say looks his future here will be blocked hey
The new 19 man bench could make Twidle valuable.
