10 reasons we are not done for yet.

Yes we got flogged and nobody least of all myself likes that but I will give you my reasons why we are not done for yet.1. We are still in a better position this year than last.2. The offloads are back. We offloaded quite a lot in the first half. Our try began with some second phase play. Next week we will play a lot like the storm game. Offloads are back in vogue.3. Our front row rotation is excellent. Much better than last year. 2009 was the FFMM show this year we have Poore and Mannah firing off the bench.4. DA is a good coach. He is and he can get us out of this, I know it.5. It's Cayless' last year. If you think the boys are going to let Caylo retire with a whimper then you are wrong.6. We have the 2nd best defence before today anyway telling me Sharpie gas the boys well drilled in defence. Remember defence wins you the bog games.7. We have a bloke called Jaryd Hayne. He is still the leading metre maker of any fullback, when the offloads come back, and he is allowed to create of second phase play he will recapture some of the form of last year. Never write off a champion player.8. Injuries (touch wood) we have used before today one of the fewest number of different players in 2010. History shows you keep the same players on the park you do well.9. We've had our bad patch. Trust me we have. We've hit rock bottom and the tide will turn. Remember it was only 5 weeks ago we had our most dominant performance this year against the storm. What happened that game? The offload.10. Finally this team, our team for some reason, and I don't know why, needs our backs against the wall to bring out our best. Remember the start of the year we were 1 from 5 then won the next 4. Then origin and the byes hit.Before the game today I was pretty sure we'd lose. All those players out and playing nz in nz is always hard. When I saw it was raining I was sure. BUT I said in a blog about 4 weeks ago now that we will look ordinary until about round 18 and I still stand by that.I'm not saying we will win the grand final, but we will improve and make a genuine charge in 2010 for the finals.

It was a must win last week and this week mate!!!!! we will keep saying we must win until its too late!! we dont even look like scoring a try! we average one a game during those "MUST WIN GAMES". what does that tell you. They have packed their bags for this year, so why you defending them?
