1 Eyed Breaks All Time Record

1 Eyed Eel has set a brand new record for most views in a calendar year.

With 2024 still more than 6 weeks away from being closed out, 1 Eyed Eel has received more than 2.5 million views from 120,000 unique visitors.

It may have been a tough year on the field, but the hard times have shown that Eels fans will come together in record numbers.

We all know how dedicated you have to be to support Parramatta and this website is testament to that.

It has grown and grown ever since Phil launched it as a one man blogging site 20 years ago. And it was his vision that ensured its continuous growth across 2 decades.

As the Eels prepare to embark on one of their biggest changes this century, 1 Eyed Eel is gearing up for a big 2025.

Thank you to all of the amazing members here who make this place what it is. Without you it doesn't exist.

  • Congratulations Super you deserve the accolades as does your very trusty number one man in Hoey.

As an old man that is finally retiring in 2 months time, I must admit I enjoy my time on here. I have followed my team since I was 10 years old and look forward to Parra full filling its right as the powerhouse it always should have been. I think we are fimally on the way!

I hope one eyed goes the distance as well,  in making it something special with our team as I think there is a uniqueness to it.

    • Who did you follow for the 10 years before Parramatta entered the competition in 1947  ?

      • I didnt know the game existed at that level, I was playing in the 4 stone 7's and I thought 5'7s was the pinacle/.

  • 👏 👏 well done

  • More new followers will come on board next year when we are top 8

Im proud to say ive been here since the old platform in 2008/2009

  • Congrats Super.

You have taken this site to another level since taking over.

I have been on this site since 2008 and hope I am still here for our next premiership.

    • Technology will be that advanced we will be able to teleport ourselves inside our devices and share a beer together in person by the time they win their next GF.

      • I think you're right Wiz and I look forward to that time 🍻

SuperEel 22 replied to LB's discussion NRL Topic: V'Landys doubles down on rule change
"I've always thought that attempts to score shouldn't be punished with a 7 tackle set. So kicks within the 20 metre zone, shots at field goal and knock-ons over the line should all be a simple 20 metre restart with 6 tackles.
