Set Restarts + Are Ruining the Game

I'm sure not everyone will agree but in my personal opinion Set Restarts in particular are destroying the game and allowing the referee to basically control the outcome of games. Combine the Set Restarts with diabolical refereeing and bunker calls then the whole fairness of Rugby League has long gone. In the game for 60 minutes...once again

The inexperience of our young side is obvious, but the boys are having a crack and there's plenty of effort being shown. Yes, we are making stupid mistakes and losing games. Overall though, I reckon we're looking more promising than we have in a long time. Our attack is fast and moves opposition sides around the park when it clicks. Our effort is also through the roof compared to recent years. I really like where Ryles is taking this team. Next year is shaping up well. A few good off season…

Still dumb.

Most, if not all the Raiders points comes from our dumb mistakes. Pushing the ball. Dumb penalties . Impossible offloads. We just lack smarts. Damn it's frustrating. Effort is not enough at this level.

For all the positives around the development of individuals and the team this year .. if this bloke plays more than about 3 games for us next year it will be another long season .  Not a first grader , makes the same poor reads every week in defence , doesn't know he has a Ferrari outside him and can't even do his simple jobs well.
