We all know the roster is aging and lack of young talent coming through is a problem. Adding in the unbalanced salary cap sees us in the current situation we're in. Question is - given the age and injury toll, does anyone see any players being let go/medically retired in the near future?Given Gutho's ongoing knee issues, I wouldn't be too shocked if something like this was announced. It was very sophisticated in its approach with a number of emails and she was told she was lucky to win a prize. When they asked for her bank account details to deposit the prize she realised it was a scam.My wife also was…

He is doing a good job over in South of France, but not sure about a coach who has only ever coached in Super League coming to the NRL for the first time. We have seen coaches go from assistants in Australia to HC in Super League then come back. But not sure on a coach with only ESL experience. Here is a link to the article by Mike Mehall Wood Coaching jobs in the NRL don’t get much bigger than South Sydney. Jason Demetriou, sacked…

But there's no excuses now for having players out.Canberra were missing their halfback, fullback and three forwards that would all make their 17, but still won. They went all the way from Canberra to Manly and found a way.Let's not forget manly went into the game with only one injury and it being a player that isn't exactly guaranteed a spot every week. Obviously an absolute…

The NRL head of football has wasted no time conceding that video referee Chris Butler failed to use the necessary level of discretion in incorrectly deeming that Panthers fullback Dylan Edwards was obstructed from defending the no-try due to a collision with Roosters decoy runner Jared Waerea-Hargreaves. The alleged obstruction from Waerea-Hargreaves on…

I say this because Daz pointed…
