"Ik sanders is playing great. But trust me he was not ready for the tigers game. He needed time in reserve grade. The past 2 weeks in Reggie's he was good. So don't just bash that Sanders should have been in from the start "

"Too right. Anyone thinking that this proves BA should remain head coach has it wrong. This type of performance,  all be it not near perfect, shows why his time is up. This team is capable of more than BA has been able to consistently get our of it."

R8 v Manly: Tick Tock

  • Description:

The public microscope will be on how the Eels respond to last round's TIO Titanic disaster where the Dolphins humiliated the Eels 16-44.

There will be bitter sweet interest on our young debutant Sanders who to date Arthur has held off from…

TIME TO STOP MUCKING AROUND AND WAKE UP

Regardless if Parramatta win or lose the football club board need to be removed ASAP and they can take the CEO they hired and send him back to his buddy Max Donnelly .  The bush coach is and always has been the secondary problem at the club , the main problem from as far back as 2017 has been the board , every decision the board has made and every appointment they have made for the club has   been of very low standards . Eels fans  have always been a bunch who get side tracked from the real…

Game Day Blog - Sea Eagles vs Eels

Tonight we see the battle of Brooky with the Eels again up against Manly, but this time on their turf and with a no doubt strong sense of redemption after a controversial win for the Eels a few weeks ago. Sanders makes his debut in a massive game, particularly for our boys. I have a feeling that we are going to get our arses handed to us tonight and face another week of media scrutiny and talk about BA in general. So, who wins and by what margin?MOM?Go you Eels!!!

BA's Round 8 presser

https://www.parraeels.com.au/news/2024/04/25/coachs-media-round-8/What a master, saying a long time since he's seen them play like that. It was a long time, try two weeks prior against Canberra. Saying it is one loss, try 2 out of 3 games putting up that performance and the Canberra game is the reason for him snapping since it is happening more. You do not snap like that uncharacteristically if it is a one off.His Sanders explanation was not great either.Oh well let's see how we go and how they…

NRL admits bunker got it wrong on roosters obstruction call

Graham Annesley has conceded a controversial obstruction call that cost Roosters star Joey Manu a fair try against the Panthers was wrong. The NRL head of football has wasted no time conceding that video referee Chris Butler failed to use the necessary level of discretion in incorrectly deeming that Panthers fullback Dylan Edwards was obstructed from defending the no-try due to a collision with Roosters decoy runner Jared Waerea-Hargreaves. The alleged obstruction from Waerea-Hargreaves on…

Nuclear Power a Balanced View

I previously wrote a blog on the subject of nuclear power.Professor Daz basically took my comments apart and justifiably so as I had nowhere near the knowledge or research capacity to lay a factual basis for the proliferation of nuclear power other than a view I privately held via an economist friend of mineI receive a lot of economic commentary and a newsletter I receive from another economist paints what I believe to be a more balanced view of the discussion. I say this because Daz pointed…

What is everyone's preferred BBQ meat choice?

So Sunday, to celebrate the start of a new season, i am hosting my mates with a BBQ, pool table, darts and man cave while watching the Vegas matches. For me, a piece of Scotch Fillet, seasoned with salt and a BBQ seasoning which consists of mustard seeds, paprika, thyme, garlic and more that i cannot remember, cooked to medium rare to medium, simply devine. All i can say is on a pan cooked same is my death row…
