EA replied to Seraph's discussion BA Presser
"Yep they need to fast track MA for the 9 jersey. He is honesty ready for this stage of his development. He has been solid at cup. Defensively solid with his line speed and tackles. Shown glimpses off great attack. Lussick has been horrible since the…"

Now at training is where Brad and Barrett need to put the polished on,…"

EA replied to Seraph's discussion BA Presser
"Even with Lane, Sivo and Lussick lucky to be in the team, we should have easily won this game. We were easily the better team.
Broncos are a lethal attacking team but only scored one try that didn't come from a kick or eels error. We are trying to…"

"I'm talking specifically about the blindside play where brown wraps around the ruck to try and create an overlap. That play where Sivo didn't get the pass was a different type of play. And it wasn't Sivo being too deep the pass was poor it needed to…"

All signs point to Blaize staying.

Based on the comments from both BA and Blaize doesn't seem like he wants to leave the club at all. Eels have offered him a 3 year deal as well, plus he will have the best shot to play fullback at parra which seems to be his preference. His speed and strike from the fullback position is something parra hasn't had since Hayne.

Waiting for luck!?

All I heard in the press conference from BA and Paulo is we need a bit of luck and waiting for the bounce of the ball to go our way. If we're relying on luck and the bounce of the ball to win games, we're stuffed. That's a sign of a team and a coach with no answers. They are feeling sorry for themselves. How do you train for luck? Tell me, I'll start playing the lotto more often. Luck has nothing to do with professional footballers bombing tries. Luck has nothing to do with us conceding 30 plus…

Player Review and Thoughts

PLAYER REVIEWS: TalagiA call a good junior when I see one, but he exceeded my expectations tonight. He was rocks and diamonds. Was luck with the dropped bombed that resulted in a disallowed try. Should have done a better job on tackling Mariner and he slipped for Mam’s try. Also made a couple of other errors. But jeez he was good in many other parts. Was good under the high ball after the drop, with one being a great kick return. Two solid tackles on Cobbo to save tries. Couple of line breaks.…

NRL admits bunker got it wrong on roosters obstruction call

Graham Annesley has conceded a controversial obstruction call that cost Roosters star Joey Manu a fair try against the Panthers was wrong. The NRL head of football has wasted no time conceding that video referee Chris Butler failed to use the necessary level of discretion in incorrectly deeming that Panthers fullback Dylan Edwards was obstructed from defending the no-try due to a collision with Roosters decoy runner Jared Waerea-Hargreaves. The alleged obstruction from Waerea-Hargreaves on…

Nuclear Power a Balanced View

I previously wrote a blog on the subject of nuclear power.Professor Daz basically took my comments apart and justifiably so as I had nowhere near the knowledge or research capacity to lay a factual basis for the proliferation of nuclear power other than a view I privately held via an economist friend of mineI receive a lot of economic commentary and a newsletter I receive from another economist paints what I believe to be a more balanced view of the discussion. I say this because Daz pointed…

So Sunday, to celebrate the start of a new season, i am hosting my mates with a BBQ, pool table, darts and man cave while watching the Vegas matches.
