Waiting for luck!?

All I heard in the press conference from BA and Paulo is we need a bit of luck and waiting for the bounce of the ball to go our way.
If we're relying on luck and the bounce of the ball to win games, we're stuffed. That's a sign of a team and a coach with no answers. They are feeling sorry for themselves.
How do you train for luck? Tell me, I'll start playing the lotto more often.
Luck has nothing to do with professional footballers bombing tries.
Luck has nothing to do with us conceding 30 plus points in 5 of the 9 opening games. 20 plus point in some of the others.
Don't mistake being unlucky for stupidity, lack of foresight and talent.

  • Hahah we show up once every 3 weeks and expect to get some luck when we do.

If the bounce of the ball went our way for once we could hold teams to 14 points a game instead of 34 . He is a clueless idiot. Unfortunately the only people more clueless about what we need to do  than him are our board.

  • True

  • I didn't see the game but I agree, Arthurs comments in the press conference were absurd. Particularly this one. "Although we had 30
points scored against us, I thought our defence was pretty good" What!!!!!

I received a news feed the other day from a sports journalist. He stated that Arthur is not responsible for recruitment and retention at the club. Hence the loss of Mahoney, Papalliti and the ridiculous signing of Brett Hodgson. Can anyone confirm this. This said journalist
was also very dispariging of the club management. Any comments on this. It seems there has been some discussion there as to hiring Bennett.

Why would you not rush to get his services?

  • I am sick of ARTHUR

  • Not sure why people are upset about BA's presser. The season is done and dusted, BA still has a job to do regardless. I'm upset with the Board and Jim for BA still being our Head Coach but I digress. Who cares what BA says at press conferences anymore? He's only going to justify his own decisions from here on. He's not about to admit defeat or admit he's run out of ideas etc. Not worth listening to anymore. I've never seen a team in more desperate need of a fresh voice. But we persist. Fantastic!!

  • Best thing for me from the game was that we actually set up some nice attack shapes in the  first half in particular. I can,t believe we left it so long to get to that stage. I was worried that Blaze may not recover too well with regaining confidence. He did very well. He looks like a humble spirit and I am glad we have him. Players held on pretty well for the whole game . Broncos didn't play that well and still managed a reasonable win. We did handle Reece really well.
