Based on the comments from both BA and Blaize doesn't seem like he wants to leave the club at all. Eels have offered him a 3 year deal as well, plus he will have the best shot to play fullback at parra which seems to be his preference. His speed and strike from the fullback position is something parra hasn't had since Hayne.

I thought it was reported his preference was to not play fullback?
Think they got that all mixed up, that's his favourite spot to play according to BA and Blaize. He's got the build for Flb as well.
Yeah, Michael, I'm with you. It's a bit confusing.
On Thursday, barely 48 hours ago, Arthur said he "didn't know" if "Blaize was a natural fullback" or if that was his best position.
So, it's essentially an admittance Arthur has been experimenting with Blaize (Ctw, 5/8, middle x-factor utility, now fullback) partly out of neccessity but partly because he isn't sure.
He added he could only do that because he knew "exactly" he had the board's full support and "wasn't coaching scared" (making sure the media got the message along with his "story" about Dylan's hours staying over at his place).
Yet, earlier reports allege Arthur stated Blaize said fullback was his favorite, thus likely his best position. Meanwhile insiders claim otherwise and "centre" or "five-eighth" is preferred. Dunno.
It's surprising the kid's head doesn't feel like it's in a washing machine.
I suppose as a young player with skills, there are a number of backline positions he could play. BA doesn't really have a great way with words, but I took his comments as that he'll try him in different positions to see where he excels best. If that's fullback at the moment, I doubt he will stay there for good however. He could end up like Darren Lockyer and end up as 5/8 after having a successful career as fullback.
I like how he plays like a second 5/8. Gives our attack more shape. Gutho to centre when he comes back.
Unsure if he takes fullback immediately, could use some nsw cup games at flb but the plan is for him to take fullback eventually yeah. Compare his first game to Chevy from the raiders it was night and day lol.
The whole "He declined his option" thing was blown out of preportion. Simply he has made his debut, played a few games and feels he is worth more than what his option was going to pay him.
He is probably waiting for the chooks to make him a offer so he can learn a thing or two , his best hope is to get as far away from BA as possible or prey the eels get a new coach .
Wouldn't be surprised if it is coming soon tbh.
Fifitas gf plays for roosters womens team, so that helped the decision. Plus the Holbrook factor
