Volkman Commits to Eels Until 2028

The Parramatta Eels are pleased to announce Ronald Volkman has re-signed with the Club for a further two seasons, extending his stay in Blue and Gold until the end of the 2028 NRL season.

Volkman’s form this season has seen him establish himself as a key contributor, with the talented playmaker continuing to build confidence and consistency under Head Coach Jason Ryles.

Parramatta Eels General Manager of Football Mark O'Neill said Volkman's re-signing was a deserved reward for his dedication and performances.

"The positive environment which Jason Ryles has created at the Club has provided some stability for Ronald where he is playing his best football of his career.

"He has earned this opportunity with some wonderful individual and team performances, and he will only continue to improve," O'Neill said.

Volkman has enjoyed an outstanding season recording 10 try assists from 17 appearances and adds further stability to the Eels' roster as the Club continues to build towards the future under Ryles' leadership.

"The curious in me wants to know if we were to announce Bostock and let's say Sloan to keep it semi realistic tomorrow , how many of us would be too worried about JACs case considering he's going to be out for 12 weeks if we don't sack him ? "

This gives Volkman the opportunity to really hone his skills, moving between NSW Cup and NRL. Also adds a bit of a dimension to competition for 5/8 role in 2028.
