I was just thinking about all the players we let go since 2022.Did we get rid of them at the right time?Theres Only a few who are doing well at other clubs but let's look into it.
Marate Niukore-Has been injured for awhile and haven't seen him in a long time.Struggling for a spot.
Clint gutherson-Very injury prone now and a noticeable dip in form.
Dylan brown-Was doing pretty solid and now out with a acl injury.Gonna miss defence but that's pretty much it.
Ethan sanders-One of the two only shining lights to really leave us.
Blaize taialgi-Got dropped from the panthers side and is still pretty garbage defensively.Struggling to get a spot to.
Oregen Kaufusi-Nothing special been alr.
Reed mahoney-Prob the biggest loss here.
Tom opacic-Don't know what his been upto.
Rcg-Again has been rubbish since he left us and is in super league now.
Point is-You look at all these players we let go and only two of em are significant losses.Another thing to they get injured a lot more now but we're completely healthy at parra and most of there form after leaving us has dipped noticeably.Besides sanders and Mahoney were the rest Valid to get rid of now or not.The others are either in super league or can't get a spot to.

I think it was the right call to let Mahoney go.
Ethan Sanders, while playing well, I'm not sure I'd call a shining light. He's backup 7 if he's still here, and I'm not sure he's any use to us as a 6.
Kaufusi probably starts for us if he's still here, which is more of a reflection on the rest of the squad.
With the benefit of hindsight, Dylan Brown was an ACL risk.
Tom Opacic is probably still a starting centre for us, which again is a reflection on the quality of the squad. Having said that, he was quite good for us.
Opacic is playing Q Cup for The Dolphins.
That's the nrl. Eels built up a nice team but then the poachers come to pick you apart, happens to any good side
Yes, but also we needed to not have all these players come off at the same time either. I think a few of them stay for a little more than what we offered. 2021 off-season and how we handled it is what set this club back.
We should not have let Brett Kenny retire, he would still be the best 5-8 next to Moses, even if he is 60 something 😏
Just a weird coincidence with Mahoney. Left Parramatta after 2022 and Parra went backwards. Went to dogs and at one stage they had the best defence in the comp and lead the way in effort areas such as kick chase etc etc. left the dogs and Dogs went backwards. Went to Cowboys and they are now top 8. When the Cowboys lost by 80 to the roosters Mahoney was out injured. Coincidence or is Mahoney fairly underrated
AE, Moses and Mahoney never got on, Mahoney overplayed him on many occasions.....that's not to say that Mahoney is not a better player now than he was then.....I think his ego and hogging may have finally passed him by. His treament at dogs was terrible, he was set up to be the shit stirrer, did that and then got rissoled because of his poor PR as a petulant prick.....happens to all of us.
Someone has to call it as it is!
Yeah there was obviously issues there between Moses and Mahoney. My point was however that he's probably underrated given every side has gone backwards with him not in the team
Isaiah Papalii would have been good to keep.
Unquestionably, but he became an earlier victim they wouldn't pay for, by the time they had to go overs for say Matterson it was too late as Pappy was passed by.......Pappy was and always will be a mercenary, nothing wrong with that when they put in regardless who they are playing for.
That said I bet he was busting to get out of Tiger Town.
