Where do Kearney's "injuries" fall? The "dropped but I don't want to call it dropped" kind?
I like him as much as the next man (not quite as much as the woman who sits behind me yelling out for her "Lukey" every home game) but I think there will be a point next year where some strapping young lad (possibly even Loko) ends up on his wing.. if only for a few weeks.

I'm still convinced that Burt has another year, at least, at the club, and that we need him in the team. Like I said elsewhere, I know he's not going to set the world on fire, but I feel he contributes more than a lot of other players.
If we kept Williams, we'd have experienced two and a half years of abject laziness (Williams, Inu and Mateo in the same team? That wouldn't have ended well) before he got excited and started trying. He's had half a dozen good games in three years, and plenty of absolute shockers. I wouldn't be surprised to see him put on even more weight and go back to being lazy. Also, Beau Scott is in the Australia squad.
