  In more ways than one...Our last six games against teams above us on the ladder - a tough run home, starting with the Roosters this week (who were mightily impressive last night v the Broncos. The Roosters attack was sensational with Todd Carney a feature).
  If we're good enough we'll come through, but one fears our early season slumber could come back to haunt us. At least the teams we will play are wary of us, particularly if we keep winning, we'll strike the fear of god into opposition defences.

    I think the Pearce / Carney combination is developing into one of the best half / 5/8 combinations in the comp. The width they play with stretches the opposition defense, and both are capable of taking on the line. Our forwards are going to have to dominate theirs to limit their space, and our kicking game is going to have to be on song. This game is shaping up to be a great test for us (with or without Pearce).

  Gordan Tallis gave Parra a great wrap in today's telegraph. He said the Parramatta are cool again for the first time since Sterlo ran the show. He also said Hayne is Lockyer, Benji and Inglis rolled into one.
