    • i tried to read this but i just couldn't.. sorry!
  • I'll translate:

There was an article in today's DT suggesting that one of the club CEO's was called 'sorry' because he missed all the latest signings.

So this blg suggests that the Eels recruitment strategy is not up to scratch, especially if we miss put on signing Cronk. It also refers to potential rumour of Stuart being at the Eels in the future.

    Fair Robbie Maxwell!
    • There was an article in today's DT........

you could have stoppped right there Tink, you don't have to explain anything..............

      Go Parra!!!!!!!!!
  • umm ok......not
  • Now for my response. It looks like we have another Chicken Little on our hands.

As I have previously stated on many an occasion, till this point, my faith in Eels recruitment has not been challenged. I think with signings like Tahu, Poore and Shack, the club has has done a great job.

The only real loss I see at this stage is Mateo and if the money the Warriors have reportedly offered him is true, then no complaints.

At this stage I am sad we hve lost KK, but I do not think we would have let him go unless a suitable replacement was lined up. At this stage, I still choose to give Ozzy and DA the benefit of the doubt.

In conclusion - the sky is not falling!
    • Your so positive Tinkerbell! Its great to have a calming voice of reason on this page. I second your statement "The sky is not falling down!
