We will certainly see the funny side of it when the government changes here and the new government put an end to the crook labor spending spree that's made this team a possibility. Â
What will happen if our Government cut their funding ?  It's not as if there are big corporate backers over there that's going to prop them up for the love of it.  Can't see any of their local  big banks , fuel or mining corporations seeing much financial value in being on their jerseys playing in a predominantly off shore competition.  Maybe I'm wrong , but how I see it is , our taxes stop paying ,that club folds. Not a very secure gig for some of these players.Â
Australia gives over a Billion dollars to PNG every year Wiz, from that respect no government is going to change the deal, imagine all the people in PNG up in arms against an Australian Govt that takes away their football team.
