  • I don't get it. Severance pay for him walking away...? Anyway least Max will sort this one above the table.
    • It would make more sense that we sue him. We committed a fair chunk of our salary cap on him and then he walks away and effectively ruins our season.
I would guess this is just more Parra bashing by the media.
    • Surely as he was injured for the season whilst playing for Parra he would be entitled to be paid out for this season, but beyond that I can't see why there would be any severance pay at all.

    • Foran you are a class act! You get injured for the remainder of the season, after missing a few games with your "issues," then get a breach notice for not doing a controlled rehab and then leave the club while requesting a break from his responsibilities and then requests a clearance and walks out.

Now he's after 200K as severance money even though he never completed his rehab and in so doing broke his part of the contract.

You would think he would have no legal right for that sum, but luckily we have experienced guys now on the board who will be able to quickly determine the proper action and solve this latest unsavoury incident.

Who would have thought Foran would do this to our club.

  • As I've been saying for months Foran is gone and was gone long ago, BA marked his cards and wasn't going to put up with any more and Foran knew it, well done Brad.

What we are seeing here is the end of a mutual agreement between Brad and Foran, he wants to leave, brad wants him to leave, the rest is semantics, Foran will be paid out what he is owed till the end of this season and its all over.

Fuck off Kieran, all the best with your future and health but you've been a total joke mate, beyond a joke.

    • Thanks for this Snake (Y).

    • The club should have let him go as soon as the request was made, at that point he became unemployed from the eels, his choice & money stopped then.  If he has to finish playing then its same as Watmough except the fact that Foran could play again in the future. But at the most he should be entitled to no more than 1 months proportion of his contract from the date of his request.

    • Me thinks Foran just wants out of the eels and will be playing for ether dogs or Manly in 2018 or maybe even 2017
    • snakely will go down as our nightmare, who ever did not check him out first, surely other knew of hes troubles before we signed him, the shoulder injury i doubt he ever had surgery on it snake....the true stories will never be seen  max will deal with this in private no doubt. cheers.

    • I reckon snake should fill the head of football role.
At worst they need to consult the forum and we must vote on any and every possible purchase in the future.

Love this, Bup.
