I'm a bit worried...

What happens to our team's confidence if we lose tomorrow? I just listed everyone in our team who is in form or pushing hard and I couldn't criticise one player, but I'm still scared. Anyone else feel this way?

  • I don't think they will lose and I'm sure no-one here would like that to happen (myself included since my poor blokes are well out of it this year) BUT If they lose it may be the cleansing loss they need to spur them on into the finals...better to lose now rather than in a few weeks. It's not the end of the world.....

  • NO!

Come on Robisms have confidence in the boys. Yes it will be a real test against the Roosters, but that's what we want, you must always hope to be measured against the best or near best and right now the Roosters and Eels are the most inform teams in the comp.

We will gain real credibility when we defeat the Roosters.

I understand your feelings of fear, that is because you can't influence the outcome of the game, people feel fear when they judge that they have no control over a situation. Some of the players will be nervous but not scared. I heard Joel say on radio tonight that the team belief is "if we play well we win" and that is confidence. It has been said confidence is your greatest ally.

If the Eels play to their ability, if they play well they win! they know the outcome is in their hands and that is why they are not scared.

Personally I'm pumped! i'm going and can't wait, One more sleep to go!

    BRING IT ON!!!!!!!
  • quite confident actually parra like doing it the hard way
  • We'll be fine, even if we lose!
  • Bulldogs did Parra a favour tonight by beating Souths. Just need Saints to beat Brisbane and it takes some pressure off Parra over next couple weeks. If Souths and Bronco's won it would make tomorrow's match even more vital.
  • Yeah, fair enough, ask Hindmarsh how he feels before ANY game and he'll echo my sentiments. In his own words.
