Big League Article (Broncos & Storm)

There is an interesting article in this week's Big League written by Greg Alexander about the financial power of Brisbane and Melbourne which reflects where they stand on the table. Brisbane a 1 team city have so much wealth they can pay a fortune on development programs and talent scouts and Melbourne backed by News Ltd are in a similar situation. The clubs at the bottom of the table, Parramatta and Penrith have no where near as much money to invest in their club.

Gone are the days of district football - Parramatta v Canterbury, Canterbury v St George in the grand finals at the end of the year.
