  • There is no doubt he is a phenomenon. Averages 64, which is second only to the Don. And the most unusual thing about him is the way he bats, which defies modern techniques.

Here is an interesting bit of trivia for you. He has now scored 6 ashes hundreds in England. No England player has ever scored that many in England.

  • When you take out the first dozen or so tests when he was actually selected as a bowler his average is in the 80 plus area.

  • Who is he?

  • He's definately special. Teams just can't find a way to get him out.

His technique is not in the cricketing books. Neither was Bradman's though.

  • Watched his whole innings last night/early this morning and his technique and mental fortitude is right outside of the ordinary. Nothing flamboyant about him, just goes on with his business and rarely faiis.

He came into this season having miseed the first 7 months due to suspension and in a few months became the number 1 scoring batsman in the world of test cricket.

FMD, a 7 months handicap given to all test cricketers and he is now starting to blow them all out of the water, and all this after being terribly knocked out in the 2nd test and not playing in the 3rd test.

FMD. Just wow, wow, wow, wowwwwwwwwww.

  • Exactly Snake. I think Smith is the best batsman we've had since Bradman. Bats outside the box. So skilled, yet eccentric and unothodox.

Didn't expect it when I first saw him play. Looked awkward at first.

I must admit I was a huge fan of the Great West Indian top 3. Greenidge, Hayne, and Viv.

Viv Richards is one of my all time favourite batsman. He was the gum-chewing King Of The Jungle. Never even wore a helmet. Oozed confidence, skill and domination.

  • No idea who he is , but if he wears New Balance he better stay the fuck away from my kids .

  • Weak lilly livered piece of SHIT! and now we call him a hero.

No wonder this country is fuct.

There for his own glory and pay packet.

Bit like the NRL putting the wife bashers up as the game's heroes.

"I wouldn't sign any five eight unless it's mose moving 6 and Cleary playing 7 other than that let Lorenzo play and be a six for us. He has the skills, we just need to set him up with good players around him. If Kitione is next to him next year don't…"

He'll be out of here if we continue to tell him he's not good enough and then we start our search all over again.

"I expect he will get a run at some point in the back 3rd of the season most likely off the bench at first. It all depends on how the team is playing , if they are getting flogged every week i suspect it's less likely he gets thrown to the wolves."

"Cmon, it looking likely that we'll be out of the running by around round 18. Surely if he's the one, Ryles will get him into the systems on the feild with Moses.  It would be a great opportunity going into 27 to give him reps.

"Metcalf is not coming to the eels to play 6, he wants to play 7, if he was happy enough to play 6 he would just stay at the warriors.
The fact the dogs are interested suggests that either Burton or Galvin will be available. "
