  • RIP Tommy. A great character of the game.

  • I remember around 1977/78 Parts were to play Western Suburbs. Caroline Jones had a small segment on Rugby League on the ABC on Friday mornings, and she interviewed Graham Murray and another Parts player ( I can't remember who it was.

Caroline suggested to GM that Tommy was pretty tough and asked if he was concerned.  GM joked and said something like, "gee I hope he dosen't hurt me".

Well - Tommy belted GM from pillar to post that game.

"Correct also Mitchy. Ryles comments on Simmonson around his performances in the games he featured in last year makes me think he's a lock for a wing spot in Round 1"
