  • RIP Tommy. A great character of the game.

  • I remember around 1977/78 Parts were to play Western Suburbs. Caroline Jones had a small segment on Rugby League on the ABC on Friday mornings, and she interviewed Graham Murray and another Parts player ( I can't remember who it was.

Caroline suggested to GM that Tommy was pretty tough and asked if he was concerned.  GM joked and said something like, "gee I hope he dosen't hurt me".

Well - Tommy belted GM from pillar to post that game.

"Fair comment and good blog NOS.
For me the club has to back JR to the hilt- and the next 6 months will show where things are at. They sorted the old roster and people knew it would take at least 2 years to see the roster re-shaped.
