  • I remember around 1977/78 Parts were to play Western Suburbs. Caroline Jones had a small segment on Rugby League on the ABC on Friday mornings, and she interviewed Graham Murray and another Parts player ( I can't remember who it was.

Caroline suggested to GM that Tommy was pretty tough and asked if he was concerned.  GM joked and said something like, "gee I hope he dosen't hurt me".

Well - Tommy belted GM from pillar to post that game.

"He hasn't been god awful, but not great either. We have plenty of him we can get better. If he wasn't starting then ok but the fact he is starting the chance is he will next year too is worrying now."

"We're acting like Sarantinos pockets money from the cap himself. He still needs the club to spend 95% of the cap like everyone else."

"I can't see how they are signing Averillo when they are getting rid of To'a and a couple of others to free up cap space to sign Fainua, the second rower. It doesn't make sense considering Averillo would be a lot more coin than To'a."

"Yeah he's resorting to blaming refs every week. I do agree the charge down no try was a bit silly, but the fact every week he blames refs shows the insecurity. He's too proud to change anything as if it works proves everyone right and him wrong.
