UNBELIEVABLY PAINFUL INJURIES!

Over the past 3 and a half weeks I have been recovering from the most painful injury I have ever had. My past injury list has things like... ACL (resulting in a knee reconstruction). Several weeks in hospital after being hit by a car. A broken leg, straight through the growth plate and splitting the Femur. I could list many more also. I have no doubt at all that my current injury has caused me far more pain than anything I have felt before. I fractured a rib and tore my intercostal muscle. Your intercostal musscle is between your ribs. The pain is extremely intense if you cough, sneeze, laugh or even breathe deeply. The way I did the injury is also unbelievable. All this damage and pain was the result of a sneeze.

I am still on extremely strong pain medication. My doctor and specialist have told me that the recovery time for my injury is about 6 weeks.

  • Whatever you do Slippery, keep the pepper under lock and key for the next 6 weeks.

  • Watch this Slippery. It will cheer you up, especially the interviews right at the end.

    Two important points:

    1. Every Parra player should watch this before they play Souths and listen to the interviews at the end
    2. Any Vegan googling Butterbean and Cabbage is going to be surprised

"Wouldn't it be glorious to screw over V'landys and the Storm in one single power move after the NRL essentially stabbed us in the back. I don't have much confident, but I do have hope.

1. Lomax notified the Eels that he wasn't recognising the terms of agreement and that they were unenforceable.
2. And everyone is missing this step.…"

I agree, win or lose this feels like a bigger turning point that the Eels are no longer comfortable being pushovers and a line in the sand hasfinally been drawn. Personally, I'm glad we're going head-to-head with…"

"A good accurate blog on the situation. Almost a dissertation. Sadly, the corruption that exists in all forms of power today leads me to believe we will still get shafted. It's not about Parra, it's about control."

I've been frustrated recently about the work we have been doing in the open market. Jonah's alright for a year and JDB is solid but he's getting old. I feel we need more in the forwards and some a replacement outside back. All I have seen is links…
