UNBELIEVABLY PAINFUL INJURIES!

Over the past 3 and a half weeks I have been recovering from the most painful injury I have ever had. My past injury list has things like... ACL (resulting in a knee reconstruction). Several weeks in hospital after being hit by a car. A broken leg, straight through the growth plate and splitting the Femur. I could list many more also. I have no doubt at all that my current injury has caused me far more pain than anything I have felt before. I fractured a rib and tore my intercostal muscle. Your intercostal musscle is between your ribs. The pain is extremely intense if you cough, sneeze, laugh or even breathe deeply. The way I did the injury is also unbelievable. All this damage and pain was the result of a sneeze.

I am still on extremely strong pain medication. My doctor and specialist have told me that the recovery time for my injury is about 6 weeks.

  • Whatever you do Slippery, keep the pepper under lock and key for the next 6 weeks.

  • Watch this Slippery. It will cheer you up, especially the interviews right at the end.

    Two important points:

    1. Every Parra player should watch this before they play Souths and listen to the interviews at the end
    2. Any Vegan googling Butterbean and Cabbage is going to be surprised

"Yep, I too disagree with some of the R&R strategies on here. He's a good player, but $5.5m over 5 years, for optics? Better to cop poo-bombing meltdowns than be irresponsible. Rabbits & Chooks would probably agree. "

"Randy, I’m not sure “just talking” and “asking questions” applies to everyone on the bus. Most, yes. But for some, this has become a poo-bombing habit over years, decades even. They don’t want to talk they want to throw the conductors and drivers…"

"You are not the bus conductor Bear, and other passengers are unsure of where we are headed. They see signposts that say we are going the wrong way, so you wanna kick 'em off the bus for talking about it?"

Sure, but “Wanting something” and "realism", understanding it won’t work, are very different things.
Ryles may well have wanted Pezet long term, but he also would have known the club aren’t the best fit with Moses locked in as the General for…"

"We are turning into the Dragons where go for players and get nothing. Dragons may land Taulagi now too.
We are being used by many agents as a pawn to up prices. Media also bring us up even if interested or not."

"Well Souths would have gotten nowhere near the money regardless of what media says. Bennett also said he would never pay $1mil for a middle forward.
Roosters dabbled but not really a contender."

ANY MORE SIGNINGS???

I've been frustrated recently about the work we have been doing in the open market. Jonah's alright for a year and JDB is solid but he's getting old. I feel we need more in the forwards and some a replacement outside back. All I have seen is links…
