  • BOOM!!!! utter destruction of Wilder, TYSON THE CHAMP!

Absolute legend of a man, faught back from drugs and depression to be the KING OF THE WORLD!

Fuck i love this guy, somebody with a huge heart and tonnes of courage.

  • Yeah Snake, watched it. Was looking forward to it.

Am a Wilder fan, but full credit to Tyson. Total domination. That's the best display I've seen from him & he did as promised. It was a far better display than when he beat Klitschko. Kronk/Sugar Hill made a huge difference.

Wilder was really off. I'm not sure whether a busted eardrum contributed, but that was the worst I've seen him. Ever.

The great late Emmanuel Steward was right. Almost 10 years ago he called it: Tyson could be a dominant champ if his head was right. He also predicted big things for Wilder. I hope Wilder comes back from this better than ever.

    • Incredible ring smarts Tyson, a real smart tactition.

      • Yeah Snake, Agree mate. If he's on task, he'll probably beat Joshua in a hellava fight.

Plenty of smarts between the ears, too. Probably, one of the most intelligent and fascinating, big-personality boxers out there.

I've watched a lot of his interviews and outside the showmanship he's a very witty, straightforward guy, layered with deep complexity and unpredictabilty.

Just before the fight I was watching an hour interview with him. He mentioned every Sunday (a free day) is a down day for him and Monday was his favourite day - and that he would need to train for the rest of his life to starve off depression and getting fat again. He's very open about his troubles. Money is not driving him. A very interesting man. Probably, not easy to live with.

Let's hope he keeps having purpose in his life to avoid self destructing again.

  • Very dominant display by Fury.  As disappointed as Wilder is, his team did the right thing in my opinion.

    • Apparently that right that knocked him down not only cut Wilders ear but ruptured his ear drum.  I myself have suffered the same injury and it is incredibly painful.  One tought man to keep fighting.  I also thought Wilder was very humble in defeat.

        • His coach is claiming Wilders outfit he came in with, tired out his legs lol.

Apparently it wasnt the head trainer who threw the towel in, it was his defence trainer or a side trainer..

          Wilder has multiple trainers.

The head coach is arguing he shouldnt have done it.

Agree with you guys, was a good move, he didnt have another round in him, was being destroyed.

  • There are so many genuinely big guys now in MMA and boxing it may be time to introduce a new Super Heavyweight division in both sports. Old school boxing is starting to make a comeback as a result of the upsurge in MMA and we are seeing guys who are 6'6" and taller more often. I would start the new division with a combination of factors, say 6"6" and 240 pounds. Mike Tyson couldn't reach the chin of some these new guys and now, even the everyday fighter is sparing against guys 6'6" and getting mouse holes punched out of them. Both sports are on the rise and if they want to keep everyone involved, it's time for a new division.
