The police murders

So treading lightly around this one , can we discuss with respect to the unfortunate police.

Act of terrorisim or what ? We are seeing way too much sypanthy for the killer for my liking , why ? Is it because he's indigenous or because nobody wants to believe someone teaching their kids can be such a horrible person ?

All I see is 3 terrorists that murdered some poor General duties coppers doing a walfare check. Were they killed because they were police , were they killed because they were white ?  It's baffling and I fear we will never get the true story on this one as the media is really trying hard to soften the killers profiles.

This horrible incedent should be up,there with the Lindt cafe siege or the Silk-Miller / Walsh Street murders and I'm honestiy disgusted at the coverage we are seeing from both the media and the comments sections painting this poor ex principle out to be be a victim in this event.

I know I've taken the piss around teachers in the past and this is far from a toungue in cheek anti teachers thread , I just can't fathom why the public are so thorn over these grubs not being outright murdering terrorists who executed a a couple of young innocent police officers . These poor buggers thought they were off to work to spend another day attending kids lifting lollies , or a few domestics , and they end up in that scenario. I honestly hope that the special ops coppers that attended afterwards hunted those 3 scumbags like wild dogs and put them down like the ferals they were .

Let's keep it on the level so we can discuss hey ..

  • I worked at Dalby Traffic Branch for a bit over 2 years in the early 2000's.  Tara, Meandarra and Chinchilla were all in that district so I have a fair idea of the type of people that reside in that area. TBH I haven't read all the media stuff because it's a bit close to home for me. Very sad for all concerned.

  • Agreed Wiz, it's not good and from the outside seems a targeted one. Like many here I've got mates who serve now and many wish they could / would get out but seem to stay in it for various reasons. Disgraceful and words cannot say enough.

  • Absolute scum of the earth. I don't care who they are, where they came from and what their issue was.

The victims families will never know the joys of Christmas again.

        • Because there's no such thing mate!

BLM is an entirely legitimate movement that advocates for coloured folks to enjoy equal treatment in the eyes of the law as is enjoyed by white folks.

The only 'hate' comes from white folks who don't want to see coloured folks enjoy that same priviledge, or nutbags who hijack the movement to promote their own agenda - which apparently was the case in these circumstances.

            • All good HKF.

You didn't offend me, but, unfortunately we do have to keep referring to people by their colour only until it truly doesn't matter anymore.

              Hence why BLM is important.

I apologise for having a crack at you - I think we're, in essence, in agreement with each other.

              • Im with bourbon man on this. Its not a racial matter, more a psychological matter

          • I dont agree BM. BLM is a hate movement thats very toxic and the definition of racism.

Your last paragraph is beyond ridiculous.

        • And that's my point HKF.

It is unfair to conflate some nutbaggery on online forums (and if you've read some of his remarks, he's the complete package) to a very legimitate movement that attempts to create parity in the eyes of the law between white and black people.

Any attribution of violence that coincides with BLM protests is akin to calling every single Eels fan at Commbank a hooligan if one person starts a fight.

  • Terrible to imagine that such people exist on this planet.

It sounded like they were kitted out ready for a battle like they were playing some sort of war game online.

Awful situation to walk in to, thoughts with the families.

This would require Paulo taking a team friendly deal.

"Not sure Kelma drops out. But it makes sense too. I think Mataele makes more sense even though I feel it is a tiny bit harsh since he has been not too bad. But also I feel Ryles prefers Williams on an edge as well."
