Qualifying Final This arvo

Hey guys,

Just away from the mighty eels for a moment. Want to wish my son all the best in the qualifying final imnsoccer (yes soccer) this afternoon. As many of you may remember I coached him for over 10 years and made rep soccer after all people said park soccer players are not good enough. I never had the money to put him in expensive academies but hey. We got there. He is now in Premier League and his team finished undefeated minor prems.

"Hey HOE,
Thanks for your contribution & your disagreement given respectfully - as always you make good points, and for what it's worth, I'm sure we all love hearing Ryles mention a change in recruitment strategy.
One thing we can probably all agree…"

"Thanks for the kind words, Bluey, and for your great posts which (no surprise), agree 100% with.
Like you & Yehaz, I do feel the wider NRL community will see the potential Ryles has.
Great point you made around Burton too - hadn't considered his…"

"Hey Pops,
Great points, and for the record Pops, like you & Bluey, I'm not hoping to see 'mass firings'...
Sometimes a small change can change the direction of an entire organisation, and we do have time, this recruitment team has 6months to…"

"Hey LB,
Thanks for your posts on the blog, as always, you've made some really great points & some that I hadn't considered.
A few of your points worth really noting…

"Also NOS, I think with Ryles being someone who is open to leaning on people around him and is fine taking risks and correcting them helps a lot too.
Compared to Ciraldo at Canterbury is too far set in his own ego that his decisions and recruitment…"

"Thanks HKF.
And definitely agree, its probably more Moses that our next 3-6month recruitment drive dictates.
We have a good opportunity to learn from the mistkaes of the past few years, and change tact."

"JC, If I misunderstood your "simple question" and it's not about "sackings" you say, its unclear to me what you mean by "do something decisive"?
Some examples would help.
Sure, the club will be under immense pressure to make decisive changes…"

JC replied to Nightmare Off-Season's discussion The Ticking Time Bomb
"No I'm not, I'm asking you how long does the club accept poor performance before doing something decisive. It's a simple question.
For me that time has already come but there has been no action from the club at this point, surely another poor…"

Hell On Eels replied to Nightmare Off-Season's discussion The Ticking Time Bomb
"JC, appreciate the question mate. You’re not really asking about accountability, change or improvement: ongoing things I fully support.
You’re asking about sackings.
There are already more than enough people talking about that and bagging the club,…"

"Well sure but if we was going to Penrith why didn't he go in the first place? They badly wanted him. Hell reports were the reason they settled on Blaize, after missing on Galvin, was due to them thinking they could get Ryda as well.
Could he join…"
