Qualifying Final This arvo

Hey guys,

Just away from the mighty eels for a moment. Want to wish my son all the best in the qualifying final imnsoccer (yes soccer) this afternoon. As many of you may remember I coached him for over 10 years and made rep soccer after all people said park soccer players are not good enough. I never had the money to put him in expensive academies but hey. We got there. He is now in Premier League and his team finished undefeated minor prems.

"I agree that Twidle would be able to handle Wing full-time."

"This is a classic case of manager doing what's best for his client. It is their job and they also get incentive too. Since he has now played FG, scoring a double too, his price has gone up. It wouldn't surprise me if the Dogs talk happened ages ago…"

Coryn Hughes replied to Joel K's discussion Bulldogs and Dolphins in talks with Apa Twidle
"Opening the field up exposes the Penrith defensive structure pops if you play long fields off a quick play the ball that means the space outwide the gaps are wider between defenders we worked that out when we played them and the other part which…"

Hell On Eels replied to Joel K's discussion Bulldogs and Dolphins in talks with Apa Twidle
"Pops, hypothetical. I'm Twiddle's manager. You're administration. Everyone else is sacked. What do you do or say to keep my client? The kid would love to stay, but he wants more first grade opportunities."

Longfin Eel replied to Joel K's discussion Bulldogs and Dolphins in talks with Apa Twidle
"In the end, if we are developing juniors, you would expect that a few come along and we already have better players in the positions they play. That's exactly how we got Iongi and Hopgood from Penrith. The key here is that we are keeping the best…"

"Maybe a centre at parts as we are a bit thin. 5/8 id say he'd be behind talentina and papalii at the moment and that's before us potentially signing someone else (unless you go with fletcher in not sure who you'd play as halfback in cup. I think we…"

"Riley Davis is no slouch either. He reminds me so much of Wlash when he runs the ball."

EA replied to Joel K's discussion Bulldogs and Dolphins in talks with Apa Twidle
"Again I would love him to stay but I am realistic that his path to FG is blocked at Eels. I would not be worried if he left personally. Iongi and Joash at the club. Then Bamblett and Davis in SG ball are absolute guns too. Personally for me, there…"

"I'd have To'o of course but if Trell and Critta are Centres would Turbo look out of place on the Wing? Kiraz I feel as well would handle Origin."

LB replied to Yeah Man's discussion Just Our Luck
"Under pressure under the high ball Poppa. Yeah Iongi drops them but he ain't in Origin. Walsh drops them but his game is elite that issues like that can be forgiven when picking him. Jenkins at this stage is not playing well in a great Penrith team.…"

"Well you said Penrith are favoured by refs and now saying they weren't. Maybe don't be a hypocrite next time and I won't question you.
Not rocket science to work out you have no idea."

"I expect you must have seen a lot of this Twidle guy in the lower grades Jack, or did you make that judgement after 5 minutes last week. Young players can be classy coming through the grades, but very rarely a class player whilst within them. My…"

Prof. Daz replied to fake midget pseudoachondroplasia's discussion Ryles coaching
"Ryles is contracted to end of 2028? Assuming that's true, I can't seen the club bothering with any coach-talk at all, beyond "we are busy supporting the coach", until mid-2028.  Also, the narrative is currently on Ryles' side. His first season 2025…"
