    • Hi Grunta,

I've heard of Dead Kennedy's, but not the others.

This morning I was listening to Slayer's debut album, Show No Mercy. 80's music was the best.

      • Awesome album. Unique as well.

  •  Well done Slip. Us old farts need to start listening to some of the newer bands out there.I have been on a Scandinavian odyssey lately.Spotify plays a song I like, I look up the youtube video, and it is  usually a drop dead gorgeous girl with amazing vocals, and legs. My new favourite/s are from Finlans,a pop/ABBA/classical band ,Amberian Dawn, and an awfully named Battle Beast.Amazing catcy songs and their singer is the daughter of  Dio/Dickinson and Halford.

From Canada try Kobra and the Lotus, and Unleash The Archers.

  • Totally different sort of music but I've just discovered Chris Cornell

soundgarden through the late 90s but he's acoustic covers are unbelievable

not so much into the heavy stuff these days

"So if a player agent advises some player not to go to R360 then by the way it's written, having advised them in any capacity, should be banned for 10 years.
That's totally weird."

"It's optics. It's years down the track before a potential former R360 player's contract might be on the table for the ARLC to approve. If R360 happens and if V'landys is still there."

"Yeah that is a grey area. Say Papenhuyzen leaves in 2027, he is a free agent that's his choice and he is free to go. Someone like Lomax is in the harder spot."

"Yeah people are confusing "won't hold up in court" with "illegal".
Non compete has a high legal threshold so it's really hard to enforce. So these rules may be impotent. But they're definitely not illegal.
At best these rules act as a deterrent. At…"

"The NRL can set its own rules. However it can't stop players signing with R360. That would be a restraint of trade. But the NRL is within its legal rights to determine who it registers and who it does not. So by all means sign with R360, but the NRL…"

"Yeah true. Lee Hangipitalis was on SEN saying they can't do it, then brought up why just R360 not Union or AFL even?
Thats why I was doubtful, but they've done it and I'm all for it. More likely players will try to sue the NRL to let them in but as…"
