    • Hi Grunta,

I've heard of Dead Kennedy's, but not the others.

This morning I was listening to Slayer's debut album, Show No Mercy. 80's music was the best.

      • Awesome album. Unique as well.

  •  Well done Slip. Us old farts need to start listening to some of the newer bands out there.I have been on a Scandinavian odyssey lately.Spotify plays a song I like, I look up the youtube video, and it is  usually a drop dead gorgeous girl with amazing vocals, and legs. My new favourite/s are from Finlans,a pop/ABBA/classical band ,Amberian Dawn, and an awfully named Battle Beast.Amazing catcy songs and their singer is the daughter of  Dio/Dickinson and Halford.

From Canada try Kobra and the Lotus, and Unleash The Archers.

  • Totally different sort of music but I've just discovered Chris Cornell

soundgarden through the late 90s but he's acoustic covers are unbelievable

not so much into the heavy stuff these days

"Not sure about coaching, initially, but I could see JH in the coaching box casting his eye over the game, using his footy IQ spotting pressure points, weaknesses, threats and opportunities. He could see things others don't. "

"To be fair, Ryles also said Iongi and Papali'i would battle for Fullback spot this year. Iongi came to pre-season much later than Joash. We all knew Iongi would get it.
Sometimes that can be media speak."

"Pops, good blog.
Ryles has shown he’s not afraid to blood rookies and juniors and give them a go: Ryley, TDS, Kautoga, Papali’i, Samrani, Tuivaiti, Iongi.
It’s never going to be a perfect process, some players will leave if they “feel” their paths…"

"Ryles said the 6 jersey is up for grabs with Joash and Pezet likely to battle it out in the preseason.  Nothing is set.
Also heard Brandy had a big wrap on Lorenzo saying the kid could move. "

"Hayne sees things plays before most others. if you know much about him, you would know that he expresses his footy brain very well. Would make a very good coach, if given chances after his Fiji stint.
Should be welcomed back into the footy fold…"
