PREAMBLE: Ladies and Gentleman, Super is happy for this discussion to continue if we can remain civil and disagree respectfully, updated as necessary. If not, comments will be removed and if necessary the blog closed and any future Kirk-related blogs closed for discussion.
Part 1, by Wiz (more right leaning)
Part 2, by Prof Daz (more left leaning)
SYNOPSIS: Charlie Kirk spoke his final words at 12:23 p.m. on September 10, 2025, at Utah Valley University, in front of around three thousand people. Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old alleged shooter of the 31-year-old Republican, remains under investigation. Utah’s governor suggested he may have been radicalized by the Left, though his MAGA-entrenched family and transgender partner complicate the narrative.
The attack shook the United States, exposing deep ideological fractures. Two days later, President Donald Trump concluded that “the radicals on the left are the problem” rather than the radical right who, he said, merely want to “stop crime,” framing the debate in partisan terms during a live Fox News interview. However, voices such as Jack Posobiec and Steve Bannon, speakers at Kirk’s conventions, had long used hard-line rhetoric, calling the Left “demonic” and urging the building of “an army of the awakened.”
History offers a far broader perspective. Abraham Lincoln, Yitzhak Rabin, Mahatma Gandhi, and Martin Luther King Jr. were assassinated by right-wing extremists. John F. Kennedy and Archduke Franz Ferdinand, whose death helped ignite World War I, were killed by left-leaning radicals. A two-way street.
Just months earlier, on June 14, Democrats Melissa and Mark Hortman were gunned down in their Brooklyn home by Vance Boelter, a hard-right evangelical, white Christian who disguised himself as a police officer. Married nearly 32 years, the couple left behind two children. The killings, however, received far less attention than Kirk’s death and did not prompt a presidential call to confront the radical right.
“What do they all share in common? Every political assassination is an attack on the collective; on our ability to disagree without destroying,” an academic observer noted. George Bernard Shaw called it the "extreme form of censorship."
Left or Right isn't the problem in my view. The greater danger lies in the radical mind and in how easily society nurtures the “us versus them” divide. As Desmond Tutu warned, “The moment we divide the world into ‘us’ and ‘them,’ we begin to lose our humanity.”
Charlie Kirk (above and below) is survived by his wife and two children.
Married nearly 32 years, Melissa and Mark Hortman as well as Gilbert, their Labrador (below) leave behind two children.
Boelter who assasinated the Hartmans allegedly kept a hit list of 70 targets, including Democratic lawmakers and even some anti-abortion clinics. The same early morning at 2am he invaded the Minnesota home (above) of the Hoffmans and their children who survived the shooting following surgery.

Wiz,
You said: "Extremists have No moral compass and not remotely intrested in alternative views." Yep.
Mu suspicion is some believe they're doing the right thing in some roundabout, warped way. Some cause. Purpose. Others, perhaps just follow urges and fantasies.
Dunno, really don't. I'd love to understand the psychology behind sociopathic actions but maybe never will. I'm kind of intrigued and baffled over the modern day psychology definition of the layman sociopath/psychopath/extremist as an "anti-social personality disorder." A deep rabbit hole.
I am not interested in alternative veiws that gaslight me and advocate for changes that would bring material harm and loss of rights to others while leaving theirs intact.
There is no consultation reqd. and nothing you can say will get me onboard.
Tell me which rights you're talking about that have been removed or floated to be removed and we can discuss .
Os there a particular right that worries you that's on the table to be scrapped for trans or gays ?
These are the topics that awareness has the potential to move people from one side towards the centre .
So you realise that murder on the train of the poor white woman was not deemed a hate crime ,yeah ? Even though he was quoted saying he " got that white bitch " .
Would you consider the BLM riots a hate crime ? Cause they aren't recorded as such either.
Hence Kirk's whole argument . Same goes for discussions about Trans shooters being not on the table for discussion.
As I said, both sides = nutters. But the topic here is why was this guy so severely hated by the left for wanting to discuss these topics.
I don't need no leader that's gonna force feeder
Concept that make me think I need to
Fear my brother and fear my sister
And shoot my neighbor with my big missile
If I had an enemy (Enemy)
If I had an enemy (Enemy) ..........If I had an enemy, then my enemy
Is gonna try to come and kill me ‘cause I'm his enemy
When you seek out enemies, you will find them...but you made them your enemy. They will find you also.
Ok Randy , now remove gang crime shootings.
But then how will I settle my beefs?
Wiz, could a right-leaning person date a transgender person? Would it change his political label overnight? Just curious.
You once said stats can be spun any way. Consider this.
Trans adults over 18 are say 0.8% of the US population
Trans people are 0.3% of the US prison population→ ratio suggests 40% overrepresentation.
Technically true, but 99.7% of prisoners are not transgender.
So which should we use?
Alarmist framing could encourage the average paranoid Joe to think prisons are “flooded” with "too much evil" trans people and by extension, fear The "Evil" Left. What are the real consequences of this kind of alarmism? Do they help inspire and spread more divide, incite more panic and even violence, or help matters? What are we really after or want?
Let's see what kind of responses get generated by some on here.

Well you tell me , what do you think ? Personally I feel you can swing from one leaning to another overnight. It only takes one clip that resonates and you're instantly swinging. Thats my opinion, but I class myself as a swinging voter who's more inclined to be agreeing with right values at present. And the older I get , the crazier and less able to have a civil debate the other side seems. The LBGTI " political movement" arm of the left don't help their cause. Homosexuals would do themself far better to distance themselves from that movement .
But let's say someone was more civil, and took more time to understand where the people on the right came from without calling them nAzIs or rAcIsts , and aknowleged that maybe fat lesbians screeching and 5 year old boys identifying as girls may just be extreme , then maybe I'd take an instant swing overnight as I'd be drawn to listen to them. I'll listen to a level headed lefty all day. I enjoy the debate , learning and discussion.
Do you think that non radical Muslims can be radicalised over a short period ? I feel like you're assuming he was a hardcore MAGA yokel and not just a homosexual kid that grew up in a family that admitted they are Republicans ?
