Yeah, I had a bit of a funny year income wise, so this refund is extremely welcome. I got more than the tax cut, quite a bit more actually. Best return I've had in a decade.
I had to pay additional tax last year so any sort of return this year will be a blessing.
Remember to take away any bits of ftb changes that he took won’t you
Thanks Carlo, got my tax done on Thursday and I'm sure the accountant would have looked after that (she's pretty good) but to be honest I was fairly underwhelmed. ATO cracking down on heaps of stuff (if you're a tradie and claiming travel you have to provide car rego etc.) plus can't claim travel to your investment property any more.
We turned ours into a French Bulldog after we chucked in a bit of coin . Bout time the working people got to waste a few bucks .
