  • Hang in there Shawn - I can assure you it could be a lot worse and I am not taking the piss mate.

    • Thanks I am sure it can be worse. I made it through a heart attack. Lost 38kg and doing great personally.

      •  S McCabe : I have had heart problems this year also. My advice is don`t watch the Eels live on TV. That will get you free of any stress. If they win, watch it on replay. It is still enjoyable. I have broken my own rule tonight. I watched the first half but I am not watching the second half---I feel the Eels play better when I am not watching them??!! If they lose I don`t watch the replay.

        • Cooke should of been sent off when you watch it. But he won it for them what a cheat.

  • Hope the Eels win it for yourself, and all the pain ridden Eels supporters out there

    • We need it.

  • And to finish it off. Cooke with a blatant foul does not get ten in the bin. And he wins the game after that. Fuck 2020.

  • Shawn, if you need to vent to stay on top of things then you go for it, the mob on here are a pretty decent lot and will give you support where they can.

Shame our Bush Coach let you down tho. lol

  • Sorry to hear Shawn. My condolences go out you and your family.

"I've mentioned it before but there are a lot of factors that lead to Ryles not going to Melbourne.
Firstly, his family are located in Wollongong. They had a street party when he got the Eels job celebrating him being home more often. Why move back…"

"Lurker, did Ryles say anything around the absence of Morretti and Mataele?   Are they injured and what's your impression of keeping both going forward as it was reported Newcastle were interested in Moretti.  Some reports saying even for 2026"

"I feel the same mate, as long as we have a strong spine - thats paramount with good competition for spots. I also have noted that coaching across the club is more evident along with the club self evaluating to be better each year. "

"Would you rely on Joash to play a full 80 at Hooker if asked?
I made the example the other day, like Connor Muhleson who has played NRL and fair bit of Cup and can get through a game fine for a week or two."

"Sorry I meant out and out hooker. Not a fan of weakening a spot to strengthen another which is what will happen if we move Hopgood and Papalii there.
Plus it means we are relying Papalii to be our first choice back up for fullback, half and hooker.…"
