Lots of stresses and tensions flow through our site. Sometimes it is a good idea to try and understand that there are other ways to get a kick out of life besides football alone. A balanced perspective. We are walking to the time of year when great disappointments may make your life miserable. 30 + whatever years without a premiership there are some good medications to see things differently.{other than alcohol?}

      Tad, life hasn't been good to me in the last 10years but I've never lost my sense of humour weird as it may be. At my age waking in the morning is a huge bonus. This song sums it up for me

            Nice song o reflect on HOE particularly thinking of the hopelessness in many people's lives who have lost everything. Floods at Lismore and War in Ukraine.Makes me feel guilty that I am powerless to do anything meaningful to help.

        Thanks for putting that up Slugg.Wonderful unicorn song which brings a tear to my eye thinking of all the people that I have lost that have had a big impact on my life. Stay strong mate.The world can be a very lonely place for older people with health issues in particular. Hoping our little one-eyed community can give you the opportunity to share your thoughts on many issues that pop up.

          Thanks Taddles, I’m a tough old bastard I’ve had a few health issues but I never let them get me down. Occasionally I get a bit misty when I look at mrs Sluggs  photo, 50 years in a long time. 1EE has helped me cope I’ve made friends I’ll never see and some that I have. Parramatta Tragic came down to visit a couple of weeks ago he brought cakes an chocolates. If my thoughts fail me I've always got the yawning pig

      Yes Slugg music and the creative struggles in process behind the scenes is giving purpose to one's life. Listening to it is a temporary relief from ills life can throw at you.We are So lucky to have lived through the early Beetles era.

Keaon done deal

As of Thursday, December 11, 2025, South Sydney Rabbitohs forwardKeaon Koloamatangi has reportedly agreed to a deal with the Parramatta Eels, but it is not yet officially announced by the clubs.  Soon to be announced.
