  • 100% with you mate.  Feck the DT.  I urinate and defacate on their NRL journos and editors  Same goes for channel 9. I have already boycotted channel 9's footy coverage and The Footy Show for the way their 9 News milked the crap out of our 2016 troubles. Every night they'd report on "Parramatta's salary cap trouble". It had nothing to do with that. We were UNDER THE CAP by 220k for 2016. We were busted for multiple, pissy little 3rd-party deals which added up to 770k over 3 or 4 years whilst were collecting wooden spoons, hence the fact we then became 550k over the cap because we were originally under by 220k.

The NRL forced us to add that figure onto our 2016 cap and that's what put us over it. Fecking ridiculous considering third-party deals can be unlimited.

Now the NRL expect us to believe that roosters spent just 200k on players via TPA's in 2018 despite the fact that they destroyed the Storm team in the GF which supposedly used over $2M+ in TPA's on top of their cap for the squad they've got.

lt's okay for the Storm to spend $2M+ in TPA's last season alone on top of their salary cap but not okay for us to spend 770k over 3 or 4 years?  Seriously, who gives a schitt if the tpa money deals are clean/legit or not?  Who?  Shouldn't the focus be on the fact some clubs have access to MILLIONS OF DOLLARS MORE THAN OTHER CLUBS and try to make the whole system fairer?

    • Feck T.Greenberg and the NRL too, for stripping us of our 2016 Auckland 9's tournament. That had nothing to do with the NRL.  It was run and paid for by that rich guy in NZ and we didn't even use all our most expensive players anyway. That team had a lot of youngsters & reserve graders in it.

      Fark you Todd Kuntberg

  • I deleated the link to daily telegraph in 2016 when they were giving it to the Eels every day. I stopped buying their paper on the weekends & won't bother with them again.

  • DT=Daily Turds! Great for picking up your dog's turds with. I know people that lives by the DT. Even their world news is full of shit, Pro-Liberals, Pro-Trump, Anti-Eels

HOW SIMONSSON HEALED RYLES RIFT

Bailey Simonsson now understands Parramatta coach Jason Ryles’ reluctance to play him in the NRL at various times last season. “To be fair, looking back on the situation now, it was probably the right call from him,” Simonsson said. Simonsson has…
