I'm all aboard the "urgent athlete" if they are the right fit and "fight for the badge" even if they might be overs.
"
I agree. We need both.
Admitedly, Mason's passion is admirable: the whole "die for the club" ethos. Players who will run through walls. Gibson's core of 6 or so tough nuts. That's harder to find than it…"
The only downside to being aboard that train is some false advertisement for the passangers e.g. Lorenzo being available Nov 1st.
I'll leave it at that as Bluey said he had the withdrawal shakes yesterday."
On Su'a.
Yep, probably overs. Market realities. He's probably attracted TPAs too. But I seriously doubt it would be anywhere near Keaon who would be up there as one of the highest paid in the game.
The thing is with the overheated market you…"
Remember Rodney Hogg
Rodney was a late arrival to Test cricket at age 27. Born in Victoria he was overlooked by state selectors and moved to Adelaide to find an earlier path to Shield. He was selected and within a year he was noticed by Alan Davidson who mentioned his…

Mason and Scope on Parramatta Recruitment and How Premierships Are Won
What Wins Premierships? Talent, culture, systems, pathways, or belonging and connectedness? For some, the answer is simpler. Who cares about the why? Sack as many as possible. Sign sexy names. Job done. One thing is for sure: premierships rarely…

Up the fucking aussies
Clinical in both semi and final. Starc was complete dogshit. Never seen an Aussie bowler smashed like that in a 20/20 game.
Starc was very unlucky. In his second over he Should of have Williams but hazelwood dropped it for a four. Next couple ball of the over Williamson smashed him. In his third over Williamson edged the first two balls both for fours over short third man. Could of easily gone to the fielder and prevented more smashing that over. Every team rides their luck for example M Marsh hit the balls just short of fielders a couple of times whereas Williamson got dropped and edges a few away. It's the nature of t20. Sometimes it's not ur day.
Yeah true, but an experienced bowler such as himself shouldn't have lost his rag bowling either too full or short. Williamson read him like a monk does the bible. Starc didn't have any plan in his bowling whatsoever. Anyway, he's been out of form for 2-3 years now. I'd rather have Richardson in his place.
Fair criticism. Starc is very reliant on his yorker. Needs to find some more variation in the death. Look at the way Cummins bowled in the last 2 matches with his into the wicket variations. However, remember that in the past 2 ODI world cups Starc was the leading wicket taker. His test cricket may of been poor against India last summer but few players would be even able to come onto a field if their father past away. Hope Starc rediscovers his mojo this summer and destroys England and the barmy army
That's the risk with Mitch. He's not Hazlewood or Cummins, he's an out and out strike bowler. On another day he could've gotten 3 or 4.
Gee they did it in a canter. At least Mitch Starc was there to make a game of it.
Lol imagine how Wallaby fans feel.
