  • If the Eels can sign the right forwards for next season we will be a strong team. Sadly at the moment we are getting torn apart through the middle but other than that we seem to be going well. Halves are going great & a strong back line when all fit.

We need more of the Nathan Brown attitude from our forwards. He is awesome.

"There were good and bad things. The bloke can coach. You do not make a gf, no matter how much of a fluke it all was, if you cannot coach. He finished with more wins than losses as well. Issue was he could be stubborn and didn't evolve with the…"

"Yep that's why he said he had a good life - deep down he knows it will take a miracle to get another head coach role.
Unless that club is suffering from a severe case of the Stevie Wonders."

"Look BA had his time and for me he did a lot of good stuff during the cap era, and for me showed too much loyalty to some players. There were also rumblings he did not get along with MON and co and hey this probably was close to the mark, who knows.…"

"Exactly.
I think many within the rugby League circles can see exactly what type of man this bloke honestly was. Family above everyone and if you dared speak out about obvious biases you were sacked or demoted.
Thank fuck the blokes gone - this was…"

"Well I thought similar in that he gave credit to us for pulling the trigger, but why waste half a year if you knew writing was on the walls? Maybe to save face that he didn't quit but mutual parting ways can work."

"There was someone on fb who commented that if we win a comp in next 5 years BA should get some credit for laying foundations. Well that's not happening with how much Ryles has gutted the joint, for good.
This is not a Kevin Walters situation."

"Oh he cracks me up. Comedy of the day 'he was glad the Eels sacked him'. What a stupid statement!
