  • If the Eels can sign the right forwards for next season we will be a strong team. Sadly at the moment we are getting torn apart through the middle but other than that we seem to be going well. Halves are going great & a strong back line when all fit.

We need more of the Nathan Brown attitude from our forwards. He is awesome.

"Clever blog Super......If BA can get the gist of what you have written through to the team, we will win easy.
Your spot on by the way....back in the 80's we quite often won by the skin of our teeth....basically it was a case of the opposition liftin…"

"Old footballers hahaha - Sunday April 29th 1973 Cumberland Oval. Played Manly. The old man and I got there late which was very unusual and we missed our seats in the grandstand so we had to find a spot on the rickety seats. I remember it poured all…"

There’s a popular saying: Once bitten, twice shy. Well, for an Eels fan try 200 times bitten, 400 times shy.
For those lucky enough to experience the halcyon days of the 1980s where the Eels were kings for three consecutive years and then gave legen…

"Wow - that's a great summation of the Eels, well done!!
I was there for the 80s grand finals. Can't recall much about the aftermath of 1981. I do know I was found in an unknown front garden mumbling "we did it" about 3 days later !  Living through t…"

"Why are we even stressing about a player with NO FG experience demanding massive $$s?
History shows us the players who chase the big money generally don't live up to expectations and fade away.
All the potential in the world plus $5.50 still only ge…"

"You are right SuperEel they could not afford him. Other two much cheaper. As you know I live in the area and fans thought he was their best player the year he left. "
