6 news scoop

I watched The Drum [{ABC} today which featured year 7 or 8-year school students who designed a Youtube news channel. The youtube program will be featured at 8 pm tonight and should get a huge Youtube audience tonight at 8 pm. This young very bright person will be interviewing Scott Morrisson. If your Kids are Politically disengaged I would recommend they watch this as from impressions they are not politically aligned with the left or the right. It should be interesting and a good introduction to the Adult world they are approaching

  • Comment section full of lefties saying finally Scomo to be exposed, like seriously if you want each way Albo as your PM then you are dumber than dogs fans who believe they're a top 4 squad

    • Huh,,,,please explain

      • Hi Randy, I was impressed with how a bunch of kids have set up a News Channel on their own as a business enterprise..At 14 I didn,t have a clue about what was happening in current affairs ----to busy trying to find some chick to try and break my virginity

      • Wilson not sure what the hell you are on about whether it is knocking me for doing weekly ratings type blogs or what but if it is that like i think then glad you enjoy those blogs so much that you want me to do this which I will not

        Sarcasm insert haha

    • LB I saw some of the comments on the YouTube and I can understand the impression you have. The Drum host interviewed the 14-year-old and the impression I got from him was that he was asking questions of Morrison with an attempt of trying to present factual material to him. Don,t be frightened of something you have not seen. He was also offering to do an interview with Albanese as well on the same format. I doubt Morrisson would make himself available to a lefty host interview..All I have seen is the promo and the Drums interview with this kid. Very smart kid who is very well connected with current affairs

It will be interesting to see how Morrison handles himself with answering the questions

      • I'm not saying anything about the teenager interviewing Morrison, more so the YouTube comments of the normal people who are waiting for the stream

    • LB, you do appreciate that we do not have a Presidential system here right? If you are going to get on the front foot and call people who intend to vote Labor and as a consequence have Albo as PM as dumb and compare them to delusional Dogs fans, you better be ready to explain yourself with reason rather than echoed ideology.

      • We have a democracy that i am glad we have compared to other countries in the world, the right to correct our wrongs if we feel we made a mistake after 3-4 years, granted Bob i do understand your point and you are right i jumped the gun a little. More so just frustration with the how i feel is one sided media and views of others who are taking certain parts as to why they are supporting one over the other. Labor voters who vote for certain policies i respect more so they are voting for what they believe in, however what is frustrating me is certain people who are only interested in voting one side because they hate a certain person on the other side and it is their right to do that just that is not how i like voting to go and that is my person opinion, you vote for a party not a person and these people are voting against a person.

I do understand Bob, i jumped the gun i have my reasons but i should have worded it better to a select few and not the majority.

        • LB, you make a few questionable assertions here.

          1) You seem to think the media is one sided for Labor because the comments section for 6News featured critique of ScoMo? That's pretty thin evidence given it's well-known that the Australian media landscape is dominated by right-wing leaning media: all the Murdoch papers, that NineCo is chaired by Costello, and that the LNP withdrew much funds from ABC and stacked it with former SkyNews people. Reality clearly says the media bias favours conservative views.

          2) The idea of criticing people voting for party not person is, um, quaint. The PM sets the tone of governance in our mixed Westminster/Federalist system. The PM is also chief spokesperson, in effect, so party is filtered through person. And besides, any group happy to let itself be led by a demonstrable liar, who goes on holiday when disaster strikes, and whose own party members say is untrustworthy and unfit for office, is literally inviting citizens to identify party with person?

          • Daz the perception that the dominant media in Australia is left leaning intrigues me.For those who believe that can they provide some factual evidence of this?.

Many statement s about Morrison being called an untrust worthy lier from his own party. How do those that defend him rationalise that? Indoctrination/ truth denial?

Also, if we can get Galvin from next year, I can't see any reason why we wouldn't regardless of who his manager is.

"I'd be sticking with Iongi at FB and Galvin for 5/8. We all know his manager is ruthless, and it's clearly just a ploy to get him it of his final contract year.
I'd have Cobbo on the wing, but I prefer Iongi at FB because of his ball playing ability."
