Another young kid taken too soon due to mental health issues.
This happens every year. As a society we aren't doing enough to address the issue.

I think there is too much scrutiny on the players these days as well. They can't fart with out bringing the game into disrepute. Also the pressure to instantly perform or they don't have a job is a lot of for a young kid. I do feel for them.
Its really not a informative post this, are you stating suicide or mental illness so he can’t play footy, this site suffers with post like this

Shawny I think it is being reported as Suicide. Terrible news. Another young kid who felt he didnt fit in and didnt have the support systems in place to cope. I dont know his particular circumstances, but I have seen first hand plenty of them.
Mental health is a massive massive issue not only Australia wide but world wide. You never know what is happening inside someones head , what their thought processes are, what can trigger them to react in a negative way. WE all have our own DEMONS.
It takes 5 seconds to say hello to people. Not everyone is going well. LISTEN to what they have to tell you. The answers are there. Saving someone from suicide or worse from potential homicidal thoughts is far greater achievement in my view. This life is not a practise run. One life , One time.

i suffered terribly with panic attacks and anxiety at 21 ruined a lot of beautiful days .....
later in life understood I need my medication just like an asthmatic needs ventolin . It’s important that society sees mental health like diabetes and asthma - medication is a condition support it’s no big deal - it’s just part of your engines fuel
