Your Roo's squad for game 1?

Just wondering who you guys think Tim Sheens will pick for game 1 for the first game of the 4 nations against the Kiwi's? This isn't necessarily the side I would go with but this is who I think he will pick.1. Billy Slater2. Jarryd Hayne3. Justin Hodges4. Greg Inglis5. Brett Morris (the Dragons one anyway, think that's Brett)6. Darren Lockyer7. Johnathan Thurston8. Ben Hannant9. Cameron Smith10. Petero Civoniceva11. Nathan Hindmarsh12. Anthony Watmough13. Paul Gallen14. Kurt Gidley15. Ryan Hoffman16. Sam Thaiday17. Brett WhiteI personally would try and find room for Luke Lewis but it's rare having 2 utilities on the bench. Tough to leave Gidley out. The only other thing I can see changing is the back row with maybe Hoffman or Waterhouse starting. I hope Hindy gets his deserved starting spot!

  • same as eels 2010 side lol
    • I'll Second that lol
  • when's the kiwi and australian side getting named, thoguth they get named on tuesdays anyway. I preety much agree with that team Nidge, slater will definetly get fullback.
  • I would drop Gallen and replace him with Luke Lewis.
  • Yeah i realy rate luke lewis, runs good lines and is very strong. Paul gallen on the other hand is so overated its not funny
    • i hate luke lewis, he has had his callup for representative football this year with nsw and played shit house. He is an alright player, but i just dont think hes all that. Plus Penrith fans really over rate him.
      • Mate you don't watch enough football. If anything Luke Lewis is heavily underrated.

He is just about a complete footballer. If he had of been playing at just about any other club over the last 5 seasons then I have no doubt that he would have been consistently in Rep teams since 2003.

The bloke is so talented that he has played every position (bar fullback and prop) in first grade which is almost unherd of, adding to that he has done so with great distinction.

He has consistently been Penriths best player since over the past 6 seasons and he deserves all the praise they give him.

        - Lewis replaces Watmough who takes Hoffmans spot on the bench.
  • replace gallen with todd lowrie lol jk
  • Well I almost git it right. Friggin Sheens overlooking Hindy is no surprise but it takes a bit of gloss of the game for me as a viewer. Oh well, let's hope he's in next time!
  • I would have thought a great tackler would have been ideal to have in your starting team against a hard running Kiwis team in the first game. If Sheens decided to leave him out for the final, for a bit more attacking flair then so be it. But i believe Sheens is making a big mistake in leaving Hindmarsh out for this game. Just my 2c worth!
