Your One Player- (Yes its a fantasy blog)

Righto 1eyed eel fans, who is the one player (doesn't matter from what team or if under contract) you would want in the team for 2015 and why?

For me it would have to be George Burgess. Besides the fact he is a monster, every game I watch South’s play this year he hit the ball up with pure aggression and force; which bent the oppositions line every time. I honestly believe he had a bigger impact on South’s winning the premiership then Sam. George’s leg drive and sheer size made him impossible to bring down. That is the type of forward every team wants and every teams hates facing in their opposition.

Yes this is a fantasy blog, but I’m over the Hayne and Watmough will he won’t he blogs.

  • HAYNE

  • If money or cap were not a consideration, it has to be Hayne first daylight 2nd.
But for the sake of keeping it real I would lean towards Smith. There's a true leader of men.
    • Smith's leadership skills are exemplary. His ability to manipulate the ref’s and lead his troops around the field is pure class.

  • thurston, a true competitor in every way which is exactly what is needed to lead us back to the top

  • Cam Smith. No questions asked.

  • Jonathan Thurston
  • Me cos I say so

  • Hahaha. Yeah sure.
    Na Jason Smith..
  • Hard to narrow it down to one so:
    Sam burgess: if he counts
corey parker: true leader, much needed offloads, can kick 0, ball play defend, read a game and makes plenty of metres, what else coud you want?
pearce: would work wonders with mau and edwards.
    lewis when fit.

  • Kieron Foran.

"He got wider in attack, particularly towards Mam side of the field that helped him poke the nose through and make metres. Brisbane were back peddling the whole second half bar one set on our own line where Samrani stayed down and Reynolds went off."

"De Belin looked way better in his 2nd stint. But his sole purpose is defence, in that portion of the game where Brisbane middles tried to wrestle back momentum in the middle he was solid in defence. "
