Difficult prediction mainly due to the inept and corrupt NRL and their Gestapo Referees! IF the Eels are given 50% of the referee calls and allowed to play their game then the Eels will win comfortably BUT if the Referees control and manipulate the momentum and outcome of the game then the Eels will not win. So I'm not going to predict a result based upon the corrupt NRL especially after what I've witnessed this year and the past number of years.
Understand your beef there monto , but tonights victory or defeat will certainly gauge if parra are contenders or somewhat pretenders for finals footy. Actually i should have chosen manu ma'u for a m o m .
That warriors game (when we were given some 50/50 calls for a change) made me realise it wasn't my blue and gold bias when complaining about refs. All those questionable calls around 2013-2014 really make me wonder. I had put it down to bias and got over it but that warriors game changed everything. It made me realise how awesome it is to have the refs bias in your direction. We just never get this for some reason. It's so weird.
Monto, The Eels are the second least penalised team in the competition, and under Klein we have won 4/5 matches against the Broncos. So are saying the refs are biased (or possibly corrupt) in our favour this year, and Klein for us against the Broncos?
This is something the team has worked on this year and I believe is a big part of the success they have had this year. Last year most of the tries scored against us could be attributed to penalties giving the opposition better field placement. It's hard to constantly defend repeat sets in your own half.
It makes no difference H.O.E. IF theyare the second least penalisedteam.However, what changes results and momentum is when the Eels should be awarded penalties BUT are not and when the opposition SHOULD be penalised but are not. That's the game changer.
Frankie, instead of criticising others in a derogatory fashion perhaps you could take a long hard look at yourself first. Then take a look at your beloved Roosters 2nd then maybe you won't be so quick to criticise others. After that take some vocabulary lessons or maybe primary school reading classes. As it's obvious you lack comprehension of what other people submit in their comments. Nowhere in my comments did I state I didn't want the Eels to win and secondly, if your going to assume that I'm the only Eels fan or rugby league fan that believes 100% that the NRL is corrupt and the referees are inept and corrupted then you may as well suggest 99.9% of League fans need mental help. You need to wake up Frankie, and stop looking through rose coloured glasses.
Frankie, even your aware of being able to 'edit' comments you've made previously. So you do know what 'edit' means ? If not, you can Google it, if you don't know what Google is then ask a friend, if you have some. Why, may I ask do you go off on a tangent incorporating topics such as: 'horse racing, street wise, Pops and Willie Wonka,' it's very, very odd Frankie how you just ramble off onto another topic like your lost for words and don't quite know how to respond to an easy and sensible dialogue. Now to answer your question, well firstly it's quite obvious that you've done a bit of tampering with your original comment and thats fine I understand that you don't want to look like a mean, nasty person. However, Frankie I never said "the NRL and their Gestapo referees don't want the eels to win" and neither did I say "NRL don't want the eels to make the finals " It just as well you didn't edit these two comments either but I suppose having the ability to delete more than 1 comment is to overwhelming for you. Never mind Frankie, you'll get there in the end. Lastly, if you want a list of some quality educational facilities to assist you with your vocabulary, I can recommend some. Just let me know.
Frankie, anyone with ounce of intelligence can put times, delete and edit comments to suit there own agenda! If your feeling accused Frankie, it's an obvious sign of guilt, but again that's fine as I don't hold grudges like perhaps you have with Pops and others. I forgive you Frankie and it's all forgotten. Now if you still need any names of reputable educational institutions that can assit you with some vocabulary lessons I can highly recommend a number of them. I see that you may also need some assistance with keyboard typing as there are such huge spaces between words and the line spacing is disastrous. It's almost illegible.
