Youngsters bringing out best from the 'hard heads'

They may have blown the Panthers away but coach Daniel Anderson still wasn't altogether happpy."In the first half we were a bit reckless, got lucky with some calls but in the second half we were very, very good and scored some wonderful tries,'' Anderson was quoted as saying."We are in the eight but we are not in the playoffs and I said to the players in the sheds that they have more to do next Friday against the Dragons and hopefully beyond."We have a young, effervescent group of bubbly players Morts, Jarryd, and players that are young in age and they are bringing out the best in the old hard heads. The young blokes are putting the wind up the old blokes.''

    hope they dont get to cocky after that big win and show up on friday agains the dragons

      I doubt anyone would be cocky facing the competition leaders. However the Dragons will do everything in their way to say we are the form team of the competition, we are the team to beat, etc, etc to shift the focus off them.

    We just have to hope that the Dragons demolish Souths today. If they go into round 26 with the minor premiership sewn up, they will be a better proposition than if they get done.

    It will be an interesting match up if both Parra and the Dragons play to their best. How could you pick against either team? We should not be fooled by our spanking of Penrith last night, they were woeful. Dragons will be THE TEST for us.

      Exactly, Johno!! - While I think we will smack their bums, I am also wary, of the Bennett factor - But the last few weeks, the Dragons have been pretty predictable - As Graham Murray says in his Big League column, the key to Parra's success, is their incredible ability to offload, without making mistakes.
