You pass,you score,you win

I think old mate coach might be right,we look to be a better team off loading the ball (both our try's came from off loads) as soon as we go back to whatever game plan we're using we have nothing. Time to throw it around

  • Mate we were passing the footy around what game were you watching?
  • I saw the usual one out hit ups and crap block plays that go nowhere!

  • I tend to agree with this. In the second half when things were getting tough and we were struggling to get out of our own half it went back to one out from the ruck and trying to go through the middle which the Eels tend to struggle with. Then throw on top of that the awful 5th tackle kick options (Bombing from our own 40m line) and that is what cost us the game in my opinion.

The Eels need to regularly go a few passes wide of the ruck when we are struggling to get out of our own half, turn the ball back inside every now and then and put in some early kicks, even if they go dead. We need to slow down the play and not just give them the ball back gifting the other team great field position.
