The teams that WIN games have two halves playing together, creating options and causing the defence to have to cover both playmakers. Whenever teams get their playmakers working together their win ratio goes up - (Hunt & Norman yesterday perfect eg.) - their outside backs become more dangerous and things happen at speed on the field. At the moment, every team knows Parra haven't got TWO halves. People often say the halves can't fire if the forwards don't - the reality is that it isn't an either or. A good halves combination can get the forwards going better and they bring the width of the field i.e. the outside boys into it as well.
TWO halves and a strike weapon and you are a threat. We desparately need a genuine second half. Which in reality means a club needs 3 or 4 of them to cover for injuries. What's Parra got at the moment?

Dylan Brown, would make a good halfback. Moses should be 5/8 on his good days. We have no backup in the rest of our roster. We have several strike weapons in the backline., but we need an enforcer in the forwards.
None of these changes will not make a difference if our attitude to defence does not change
Definitely as seen when Moses had Dylan brown on other side of ruck to him he played a lot better. With Will Smith or Salmon, opposition could afford to number up and pressure Moses knowing that he was only genuine half and ball most likely to go that way with little threat elsewhere on 5th tackle option.
TWO halves and a strike weapon and you are a threat???
Our squad has plenty so we are well stocked for now and in the future.
