Everyone will expect that i'm talking about Corey Norman, and we probably would have won had he been playing, but of all the players that we have shed recently, i really think we should have held on to Ryan Morgan.I know there are plenty of Morgan haters here but we now have no back up centres. Basically, since the day he left we have needed him. Just a solid player who gives his all, is rarely injured and always ready to step up.

    Great blog.

    Also applies to all the Jenko haters, as soon as he went off we leaked tries and lost a lot of go forward.

      Exactly. Some don't appreciate what a fantastic defensive centre can contribute. Jennings secures the right side defensively, and is a great finisher (and can create, if given early ball, as we saw SOO3 and Panthers)

    Useless??

    He was never paid to win games, he was paid to fill a role, a roll that he is filing at the Storm.....he will play finals this year and he is a good chance at owning a GF ring come October......again, useless???

    My understanding is that Morgs has only been lent to the Storm for this season. I think we still have him under contract for 2017 & has not been released. Other fans may be in a position to confirm or correct.

    Storm arent playing finals because of Morgan. Same was said about Dan Mortimer when he was at the Roosters. Dan has a grand final ring, doesn't mean he's an ace player (guy can't crack first grade).That said we do have a gap (due to injuries) that he could fill nicely (which was the reason we re-signed him). But let's not pump his tyres too much, not useless but still pretty ordinary.
