"Are you optimistic for the season ahead?"
"The PNG national squad always does OK, plus the grassroots are already established. Plus, the entire country loves the game. I'd be more optimistic of PNG fielding a compettiive side over Perth. "
"Perth will do alright question is. Who is going to play/sign in png? ?"
"Need way more than that, majority of the players signed would be their depth. Even that is rubbish. As Johnny mentioned too, juniors will be hard to come by.
Look at their last two signings. Sorensen and Talakai. Sorensen is a fine signing for…"

No thanks. Would rather have this:
1. Gutherson
6. Hayne
7. Norman
I don't know how many times in how many different blogs I can keep saying this: NO.
Hastings is completely useless. He's not a match winner. He's the ultimate plodder.
2015 : Thurston / Morgan
2014: Reynolds / Keary
2013: Pearce / Maloney
2012: Cronk / Widdop
2011: Cherry-Evans / the Pea heart Degenerate
Besides Widdop who is a genuine spud, premiers have always had 2 quality halves. Just think Hastings is mediocre and we could do better !
Other issues :
1. He has a shit attitude
2. Not cheap
Traditional Croissant : Agree 100%. Hastings lacks speed. I would go for the half up on the Gold Coast who is currently third in the pecking order up there. A young bloke, who played NRL against the Warriors in New Zealand recently and, from what I saw did well, and scored an impressive try late in the match. He can attack from the scrum base like the halves use to do in the old "days". He is unlikely to crack First Grade up there and may be willing to come south.
I would he kick goal so i say yes
1 Hayne
2 French
3 Gutherson
6 Hastings
7 Norman
Dragons.
Talk about him leaving the Roosters starts after Norman says no to Dragons. Dragons desperate for a half.
